| Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of "dragon and tiger engagement" acupuncture and conventional acupuncture on insomnia symptoms in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,CFS),the theoretical basis of "dragon and tiger engagement" acupuncture was discussed,and better promoting acupuncture and moxibustion therapy among the many therapies for CFS insomnia symptoms.Methods:60 CFS patients were screened,patients who met the CFS inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group(" dragon and tiger belligerent " acupuncture group)and control group(routine acupuncture group),30 cases each.The two groups were treated once a day,Six times a week,After four weeks of treatment,The fatigue scale(FS-14),insomnia severity index(ISI)and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)were evaluated and analyzed,To determine the therapeutic effect of the two groups.Results:1.The difference of sex,age and course of disease between the two groups before treatment was not statistically significant(P ﹥0.05)and was comparable.2.There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(ISI)and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),which indicated that both treatments could improve insomnia symptoms in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome.3.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P ﹤ 0.01),compared with the fatigue scale(FS-14),insomnia severity index(ISI)and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.4.Compared with the fatigue effect of the two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67 and that of the control group was 76.67,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤ 0.05),which indicated that the treatment group was better than the control group.5.The total effective rate was 83.33% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤ 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.6.The total effective rate was 76.67% in the treatment group and 66.67% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤ 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusions:1.The two treatment methods have effect on insomnia symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome,among which "dragon and tiger fighting" acupuncture is more effective for the improvement of fatigue symptoms,insomnia symptoms and overall symptoms of CFS patients,and the effect is better than that of conventional acupuncture group;2." Dragon and Tiger Warfare " acupuncture is an effective method to improve insomnia symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome,which is worthy of further study in clinic. |
