Clinical Observation On Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Combined With Moxa-busting Shenque Point In Treating Motor Aphasia Of The After Stroke Patients

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of the therapy Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point treating motor aphasia patients after stroke,by comparing with the conventional acupuncture.And to explore the superior acupuncture therapy for the motor aphasia patients after stroke.Methods60 standard cases were collected according to the random number table,and assigned to treatment group(Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point)and contrast group(conventional acupuncture),30 patients in each.Both groups were given basic treatment,including the conventional medical treatment and language rehabilitation training.The treatment group was given the Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point therapy based on the basic treatment,using the main acupoints including Fengchi(bilateral),Baihui,Yintang,Shuigou,Shanglianquan,Panglianquan I,Panglianquan Ⅱ,Neiguan(bilateral),Tongli(bilateral),Sanyinjiao(bilateral),Shenque;while the contrast group was given conventional acupuncture therapy,choosing Fengchi(bilateral),Wangu(bilateral),Lianquan,Tongli(bilateral),Zhaohai(bilateral),Hegu(bilateral),Taichong(bilateral)as the main points.The acupuncture therapy treatment was given 6 times a week,1 time per day,and a course of treatment was 4 weeks,the treatment was last for 1 course.Before and after treatment,three scales were used for statistical analysis and clinical evaluation,including National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS),Aphasia Battery of Chinese(ABC)and the World Health Organization Quality of Life scale(WHOQOL-100).ResultsThe result of NIHSS scores after 1 course follows: It was not significant statistical that the difference between two groups before intervention(p>0.05).The difference of both groups before and after intervention was significant statistical(p<0.05).And the difference between the two groups after intervention was significant statistical(p<0.05),the effect of treatment group was better than the contrast.The result of ABC scores after 1 course follows:Firstly,in the aspect of the subproject scores: It was not significant statistical that the difference between two groups before intervention(p>0.05).After intervention,the difference of ABC scores in 7 subprojects of two groups was remarkably.The difference of language ability of 5 subprojects including spoken fluency,retelling,informativeness,writing and naming between two groups after intervention was significant statistical(p<0.05),while it was not significant statistical in reading,listening(p>0.05).Secondly,in the aspect of the total scores: It was not significant statistical that the difference between two groups before intervention(p>0.05).After intervention,the total scores of ABC were remarkably different(p<0.05).Finally,in the aspect of the clinical effect based on ABC: The effective rate of treatment group was 100% while the contrast was 83.33%.The results showed that the treatment group was superior to the contrast group(p<0.05).The result of WHOQOL-100 scores after 1 course follows : It was not significant statistical that the difference between two groups before intervention(p>0.05).The difference of patients’ WHO/QOL-100 scores in both groups was significant statistical before and after intervention(p<0.05).Meanwhile the difference of patients’ WHO/QOL-100 scores between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).ConclusionBased on the treatments including conventional medical therapy and language rehabilitation training,adopt the therapy Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point could remarkably improve the neurological deficits,quality of daily living of patients with motor aphasia caused by ischemic stroke.In terms of language proficiency,both Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point and conventional acupuncture play an important part.Neither Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point nor conventional acupuncture works in the subprojects of improving patients’ language ability of reading,writing and listening,but more noticeable improvements in language ability of spoken fluency,retelling,informativeness,naming and writing were seen in Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point comparing to conventional acupuncture,so was the total scores of ABC.In conclusion,Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with moxa-busting Shenque point has the function to regulate Form,Qi and Sprit,the clinic curative effect of patients with motor aphasia after stroke is obvious,which is worth further clinical research and application.
