Objective:To observe the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine sachets in preventing acute respiratory tract infection in children,to provide a reliable basis for the promotion and application of the sachets in children, and to explore the clinical application of the theory of treatment without disease in external treatment. Methods:Methods of prospective study, stratified randomization, blank control and self before and after control were used.If they are healthy and free of respiratory infection within 1 week;Ttic disorder and no respiratory tract infection within 1 week; The pneumonia cure within 1week was stratified into 3 layers.SPSS statistical software was used to generate random numbers in each layer.According to the numbers, they were divided into two groups, the sachets group and the control group, with a total of six groups. The sachet group was allowed to wear the sachet, while the control group was not given any intervention measures. Both the sachet group and the control group lived a normal life.A total of 25 children were included in each group, considering 20% exclusion/shedding,32 cases were included in each group, and a total of 192 cases were collected. The acute respiratory tract infection(ARI)of the sachets group and the control group were observed, including the frequency of ARI,fever,CARIFS score, heat course and disease course, and the differences were compared.Excel and SPSS21.0 were used for statistical analysis.Research result:According to the standard of sodium and excretion in this study,a total of 192 children were investigated, including 7 cases of shedding, including 1 case of shedding due to adverse reactions and 6 cases of shedding due to natural causes.A total of 185 cases were collected.(1)This study showed that there were differences in the ages of children in the healthy group, the tic group and the pneumonia group, among which the pneumonia group was the youngest and the tic group the oldest. The ratio of male to female was 5∶1 in the tic group and 2∶1 in the healthy group and the pneumonia group. There were no differences between the three groups in wearing masks outside and exposure to secondhand smoke at home, but there were differences in the proportion of recurrent respiratory infections among the three groups. The pneumonia group had the highest overall frequency of previous respiratory infections, followed by the healthy group and the tic group. There were significant differences between the three groups,so it was necessary and meaningful to enroll subjects separately.(2)The sachet groups of the healthy group, the twitch group and the pneumonia group were roughly the same as the control group in terms of age, gender, proportion of the number of recurrent respiratory infections, time spent outside without wearing masks, and exposure to secondhand smoke at home. The sachet group and the control group were also roughly similar in terms of personnel composition, age, gender, proportion of people with recurrent respiratory infections, time spent outside without wearing masks, and exposure to secondhand smoke at home. Therefore, the sachets in each group and the control group, sachets and the control group were comparable.(3)In the same period of last year, there was no statistical difference in the incidence of acute respiratory tract infection between the sachet groups of the healthy group, the twitch group and the pneumonia group and the control group, and between the sachet group and the control group.During the trial, there were statistical differences in the incidence of acute respiratory tract infection between the sachet group and the control group,as well as between the sachet group and the control group.Health, twitch group, pneumonia group respective contrast group and control group in the same period last year and study period in the incidence of acute respiratory tract infection had no statistical difference, but the healthy group, pneumonia group each group of sachet, sachet group in the same period last year and study period in the incidence of acute respiratory infection were statistically significant. The results indicate that the sachets can effectively prevent acute respiratory tract infection in children, especially in healthy children and children with pneumonia.(4)In the same period of last year, there were no statistical differences in the incidence of upper respiratory tract infection,tracheo-bronchitis and pneumonia between the sachet group and the control group. However, there was a significant difference in the incidence of upper respiratory tract infection between the sachet group and the control group during the trial. There were no significant differences in the incidence of upper respiratory tract infection,tracheo-bronchitis and pneumonia in the control group between the same period of last year and the trial period. There were statistical differences in the incidence of upper respiratory tract infection and tracheo-bronchitis in the sachets group between the same period of last year and the trial period. It can be seen that sachets are more effective in preventing upper respiratory tract infection and tracheobronchitis.(5)During the same period of last year and during the study period, there was no statistical difference in the proportion of people with two infections between the sachet group and the control group, the sachet group and the control group in the healthy group, the twitch group and the pneumonia group respectively. There was no statistical difference in the proportion of the number of people with two infections between the healthy group, the tic group and the pneumonia group and the control group respectively during the same period of last year and during the trial, but there was statistical difference in the proportion of the number of people with two infections between the sachet group and the trial(P=0.037 < 0.05).It is known that the sachets can reduce the recurrence of acute respiratory tract infection.(6)There was no significant difference between the children with recurrent pneumonia in the sachet group and the control group(P= 0.718> 0.05),indicating that the effect of sachet on preventing recurrent pneumonia was not obvious, which may be caused by the relatively rare occurrence of recurrent pneumonia.(7)As for the infection cases between the sachet group and the control group, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of the highest score of CARIFS and whether there was fever. As for the infection and fever cases between the sachet group and the control group, there was also no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of the highest temperature. This indicates that the sachets on the prevention of acute respiratory tract infection of the deterioration of the aggravation of the effect is not obvious.(8)The incidence of acute respiratory tract infection in the sachets group and the control group was indeed less than that in the previous 4 weeks, and there were statistical differences in both groups. It indicates that the better the duration of wearing the sachets, the better the preventive effect may be,but further tests are still needed.(9)During the whole experiment,1 girl in the healthy sachet group showed dizziness symptoms after wearing the sachet, which improved immediately after removing the sachet, indicating that she had adverse reactions to the sachet. However, there was no significant difference in the proportion of adverse reactions between the sachet group and the control group, indicating that there was no significant difference in the safety of sachet and the control group.Conclusions:1.Royal Sachet can reduce the incidence of acute respiratory tract infection, that is,effective in the prevention of acute respiratory tract infection. The effect on the prevention of acute upper respiratory tract infection and acute tracheo-bronchitis is also more obvious in healthy children and children with pneumonia. However, the prevention of twitching children and acute pneumonia needs to be further studied by expanding the sample size.2.The effect of the Royal Sachet on the prevention of the deterioration of acute respiratory tract infection is not obvious, which needs to be further studied by expanding the sample size.3.Royal Sachet can reduce the recurrence rate of acute respiratory tract infection, that is,effective in preventing the recurrence of acute respiratory tract infection. However, only for pneumonia, its preventive effect needs to be further studied with a larger sample size.4.The longer you wear the Royal Sachet, the better the preventive effect may be.5.High safety in Royal Sachet.6.The Royal Sachet is worth popularizing in children.
