| Objective: To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with warm moxibustion box in the treatment of vertigo caused by vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency. Methods: This study selected in line with the vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency vertigo in sixty cases of standard research object.Follow the table of random numbers, they were divided into control group and treatment group, and thirty cases in each group. Two groups of subjects were accepted health education and oral betahistine mesylate tablets. On the basis of oral western medicine, the study subjects in the treatment group were given acupuncture combined with warm moxibustion box moxibustion therapy, one time a day,six times a week, two weeks is a course of treatment. The control group was given oral western medicine treatment, three times a day,one tablet each time, two weeks is a course of treatment. Both groups were treated for two courses. To observe the changes of Chinese medicine vertigo symptom score, vertigo disorder scale score and transcranial Doppler ultrasound examination results before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups of subjects.Results:(1)Comparison of Chinese medicine vertigo symptom scores: after two courses of treatment, vertigo scores in both groups were lower than before treatment, the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant.(2)Comparison of vertigo disorder scale scores: After treatment, vertigo disorder scale scores of the two groups were better than before, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant, the treatment group was better than the control group.(3)Comparison of transcranial Doppler ultrasound results: after treatment, the average peak blood flow velocity of bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery in the two groups was improved compared with before, and the difference between groups was statistically significant, and the treatment group was better than the control group.(4)Comparison of curative effect evaluation criteria: After two courses of treatment,2patients in the treatment group were cured,19 patients showed obvious effect, and 6patients showed effective effect. The total effective rate was 93.33%.In the control group,1 patient was cured,7 patients were significantly effective, and 17 patients were effective. The total clinical effective rate was 83.33%.Conclusion: On the basis of oral administration of western medicine, acupuncture combined with warm moxibustion box moxibustion in the treatment of vertigo caused by vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency is better than western medicine therapy alone. It can improve the clinical symptoms of vertigo and improve the quality of life of patients, and meanwhile improve the average peak velocity of bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery in TCD examination of patients in two groups. The mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy is clear, the curative effect is definite, the preparation tool is simple, the consumable material is less, the cost performance is high, the operation is simple, the adverse reaction is less,it is worth popularizing in the clinical use. |
