Clinical Effect Of Tongbi San On Knee Osteoarthritis Of Wind-cold Dampness Resistance Observation Of Curative Effect And Quality Of Life

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongbi San in the treatment of Osteoarthritis of the knee(KOA)and its influence on the quality of life of patients.Methods: 60 KOA patients who met the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and TCM syndromes were wind-cold-dampness-resistance type were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The control group was given celecoxib capsule 200 mg orally qd after meals;The treatment group was applied externally with Tongbi San on the basis of the control group.The prescription:Chuanwu,Caowu,Shannai and Gansong were mixed according to 3:3:2:2,then powdered,and then freshly mashed green onion white and appropriate amount of rice wine make a paste for later use;Choose acupoints: inner knee eye,outer knee eye,Heding,Yanglingquan,Yinlingquan,Zusanli,Ashi.Once a day,6 days as a course of treatment,one day apart,continue to the next course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment.Observe the pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scale,Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Arthritis Index(WOMAC)before and after treatment in the two groups Table,SF-36 quality of life scale(MOS 36 item short form health survey,SF-36),knee circumference,Interleukin(IL)-1β,Tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,TCM symptoms Changes in indicators such as points,compare the efficacy of the two groups,and compare the general routine inspections and the occurrence of adverse drug reactions as safety observation indicators.Results:1.Clinical efficacy evaluation: After the treatment,the clinical efficacy results of the two groups of patients were as follows: Treatment group: 4 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 86.7%;the control group recovered 1 case were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,10 cases were effective,and 13 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 56.7%.After comparing the results of the two groups by the χ~2test,P=0.022(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.It can be considered that the clinical effect of Tongbi San combined with western medicine in the treatment of wind-cold dampness type KOA is better than that of the western medicine treatment group.2.Comparison of clinical symptom indicators: intra-group comparison: Before and after treatment,the VAS score and WOMAC score of the two groups were lower than before treatment,and the physical health score,mental health score and total score of the SF-36 scale were higher than before treatment.The difference was statistically significant,P<0.05;the knee circumference of the control group did not change significantly before and after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant.The knee circumference of the treatment group after treatment was significantly lower than before treatment,P<0.05;comparison between groups:treatment group VAS score,WOMAC score,and knee circumference all decreased more significantly than those of the control group.The physiological health scores,mental health scores and total scores of the SF-36 scale increased more significantly than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant.3.Laboratory index comparison: intra-group comparison: before and after treatment,the levels of inflammatory indexes IL-1β and TNF-α of the two groups were lower than before treatment,P<0.05;comparison between groups: compared with the control group,the treatment group The levels of IL-1β and TNF-α decreased more significantly than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.4.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: intra-group comparison: Before and after treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups of patients were lower than before treatment,P<0.05;comparison between groups: compared with the control group,the TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group decreased significantly.The difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: Tongbi San combined with western medicine in the treatment of wind-cold-dampness-type KOA can improve patients’ clinical symptoms,laboratory indicators and TCM syndrome scores better than simple western medicine treatment,indicating the clinical efficacy of Tongbi San combined with western medicine in the treatment of wind-cold-dampness-type KOA Reliable,worthy of promotion and application.
