Objective:The incidence and influencing factors of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction(PFD)related symptoms in adult women in gynecological clinics of Class III-A General Hospital were analyzed,so as to provide a basis for the prevention and treatment of PFD in the local gynecological outpatient department. Methods:Using an opportunistic survey method,a questionnaire investigation was conducted among adult women who visited the gynecological specialist clinic of Shanxi Bethune Hospital from January 2019 to August 2020.The questionnaire data included general information and Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-Short Form 20(PFDI-20).The filling method was to choose mobile phone mini program or paper form voluntarily. The collected questionnaires were statistically analyzed. Results:A total of 2200 adult females voluntarily participated in the survey, and 2033 valid questionnaires were collected. The average age of 2033 respondents was(43.83±11.99)years old.The patients with PFD symptoms accounted for 51.16%(1040/2033),among which the incidence of stress urinary incontinence was the highest(26.56%,540/2033).The rate of awareness of PFD was 18.15%(369/2033)and the rate of consultation was12.79%(133/1040).Multivariate Logistic analysis showed that the independent influencing factors of PFD symptoms were age, menstrual status, body mass index, weight of first fetal and delivery times.Among them, there were 801 women aged 18-40,accounting for 39.40% of the total number. The number of women with PFD symptoms was relatively low, accounting for 23.47%(188/801).Multivariate Logistic analysis showed that the independent influencing factors of PFD symptoms in young women were body mass index, first delivery method, weight of the first fetus and delivery times.A total of 1232 women aged over 40,accounting for 60.60% of the total, and 69.16%(852/1232)had self-conscious symptoms of PFD.Logistic analysis showed that the independent influencing factors of PFD symptoms in middle-aged and elderly women were menstrual status, body mass index, delivery times, first fetal weight, and history of hysterectomy. Conclusion:The incidence of PFD-related symptoms among adult women is high, while the awareness rate and the consultation rate are low.Age,menopause, obesity, heavy weight of the first fetus and excessive fertility are independent risk factors for PFD-related symptoms in adult women. For women of reproductive age, fertility factors have an important influence on the occurrence of PFD-related symptoms, and attention should be paid to postpartum pelvic floor screening and treatment.Vaginal delivery is no longer an independent risk factor for PFD-related symptoms in middle-aged and older women.
