COVID-19’s Response To China From The Perspective Of Non-traditional Security

With the acceleration of globalization process,the key factors affecting global security are also changing,and non-traditional security threats are becoming more and more prominent.However,the infectious disease problem in the field of non-traditional security has existed for a long time in the history of human development.It is a common challenge faced by all countries in the world,and its status is rising among many non-traditional security threats,has restricted the entire human survival and the development.So far,an outbreak of new coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan,Hubei Province in China,in early 2020 has spread worldwide and rebounded in several regions,a problem that can not be solved by a single country.The characteristics of the new crown,such as complex etiology,transnational infection,multiple impacts and coordinated management,make it go beyond the category of common health diseases and rise to the research hotspot in the field of non-traditional safety,it poses a threat to the country’s individual security,political security and economic security,and causes such impacts on international security as undermining the mechanisms for building international security,intensifying geopolitical wars and intensifying competition in military science and technology,as a result,the world economy is facing the difficulties of cold tourism,blocked international trade,industrial chain,supply chain,value chain disruption and capital market turbulence,it arouses people’s new thinking on the process of globalization,the evolution of international relations and the trend of international pattern.NCP is not a regional challenge but a problem that needs to be addressed by global actors,so it can only be resolved safely in the context of a global coalition.In the face of this non-traditional security threat,China should make preparations from various aspects,first of all,it should be aware of the importance of non-traditional security;At the economic level,financial instruments can play an important role in promoting and stabilizing public health,coordinating fiscal and monetary policies,and improving public health security and emergency response system Upholding the primacy of the people’s personal security and implementing the overall national security concept on the basis of establishing and improving the theoretical system of national security studies,and continuing to unwaveringly adhere to multilateralism and seek common development in diplomacy,china will render strong support to international organizations,maintain existing international order,participate in international cooperation in the fight against the epidemic,enhance quality partnerships,and advance the reform of the global governance system.In the important period of global common anti-epidemic,China should play a good leading role,strengthen its responsibility and establish its image as a great power while doing well its own risk prevention work.
