Public health emergencies have occurred frequently in recent years,causing great impact on the economy,social order and people’s life safety.Our government has taken timely and decisive effective measures to promote epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development,and the domestic epidemic has been controlled quickly and effectively.As one of the community social work models,Society Plans the Pattern played an important role in intervening in the community crisis,implementing national epidemic prevention and control measures,responding to the service needs of community residents,stimulating social vitality,and promoting community participation during the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic,and grasping the overall situation of overcoming the epidemic.Based on the actual situation of the prevention and control of the COVID-19 in China,this paper takes the prevention and control of the COVID-19 in Chongqing as an example,uses participant observation,interview,case study and comparison methods to conduct in-depth research and analysis of people,environment and resources in the community during the epidemic prevention and control in three different types of communities,traditional,developing and modern,based on social system theory,social planning theory and crisis intervention theory,and combines the needs of the community to the study explores the strategies of Society Plans the Pattern to intervene in community response to public health emergencies,summarizes the effectiveness and problems of the intervention,and proposes countermeasures from four aspects: society,government,community,and social work to enhance the community’s ability to respond to public health emergencies.
