Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis Of Yang Deficiency And Cold Coagulation Type By AcuPuncture With Governor Vessel Moxibustion

Objectives:By comparing acupuncture combined with Governor Vessel moxibustion and joint cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of yang deficiency and cold coagulation knee osteoarthritis,the difference in clinical efficacy,and the two methods for TCM symptom score,VAS pain score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score And the influence of color Doppler ultrasound suprapatellar sac fluid volume,provide certain reference significance for clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis of yang deficiency and cold coagulation type.Methods:From August 2020 to January 2021,62 patients with knee osteoarthritis of yang deficiency and cold coagulation type who met the research criteria of the subject were selected to be treated at the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,the Second People’s Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and were randomly divided into observation group(Acupuncture plus Governor Vessel moxibustion group)and control group(sodium hyaluronate injection group),31 cases in each group.Observation group:Acupuncture combined with Governor Meridian moxibustion treatment,acupuncture treatment once a day,30 minutes each time,5 days of continuous treatment and 2 days of rest,a course of treatment,a total of 5 courses of treatment.Each course of treatment is carried out once in the Governor Vessel moxibustion treatment,that is,the Governor Vessel moxibustion treatment is performed on the first day of the treatment course,and then acupuncture treatment is performed.Acupuncture takes the calf nose,inner knee eye,Yanglingquan,Xuehai,Liangqiu,Zusanli(the above acupoints are taken from the affected side),and Guanyuan;the Dumai moxibustion is between Dazhui and Yaoyangguan,to both sides The bladder meridian extends a moxibustion band about 5cm wide.Control group: intraarticular injection of sodium hyaluronate,once every 7 days,5 weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment.Observe the changes of TCM syndrome score,VAS pain score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score,and color Doppler ultrasound suprapatellar effusion before and after treatment in the two groups,and evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.All statistical analysis of data was processed with SPSS24.0 software.Rusults:1.Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of TCM symptom score,VAS Pain score,WOMAC score,and color Doppler ultrasound suprapatellar sac fluid volume(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of TCM symptom scores: Compared within the group,both groups can effectively reduce TCM symptom scores(P<0.05);comparison between groups,the observation group is better than the control group in improving TCM symptoms(P<0.05).3.Comparison of VAS Pain scores: Compared within the group,both groups can effectively reduce the VAS Pain score(P<0.05);comparison between the groups,the observation group is better than the control group in improving the VAS score(P<0.05).4.Comparison of WOMAC scores: In group comparison,the Pain,stiffness,activity function score,and total score of the two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment(P<0.05);comparison between groups,the observation group improved pain,stiffness,and activity after treatment The function score and total score were better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Color Doppler ultrasound comparison of suprapatellar sac effusion: Compared within the group,the suprapatellar sac effusion of the two groups after treatment decreased compared with that before treatment,which was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison between the groups,the suprapatellar sac effusion of the observation group The degree of improvement was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).6.Evaluation of clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the observation group is 90.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group is 79.31%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Acupuncture combined with Governor Vessel moxibustion and joint cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate can effectively reduce the TCM symptom score,VAS Pain score,WOMAC score,and the amount of suprapatellar sac fluid in Patients with knee osteoarthritis due to yang deficiency and cold condensation.2.Acupuncture combined with Governor Vessel moxibustion is more effective than sodium hyaluronate injection in the joint cavity in treating knee osteoarthritis of yang deficiency and cold coagulation.
