Objective: By comparing the clinical effects of simple application of Dumai Fuyang moxibustion therapy, simple application of tendon point acupuncture therapy and Dumai Fuyang moxibustion combined with tendon point acupuncture therapy for early and mid-term Yang deficiency and cold coagulation type knee osteoarthritis The combination of the two methods is the safest and most effective.Materials and Methods: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,90 cases of early and intermediate knee osteoarthritis(Yang deficiency cold)who were hospitalized in the Orthopedics ward of the Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Liaoning Province from May 1,2018 to May 1,2019 were collected.(Coagulation type)patients were randomly divided into three groups by the coin toss method, namely acupuncture group, moxibustion group and comprehensive group. The acupuncture group was treated with simple acupuncture point acupuncture treatment, the Duxi moxibustion group was treated with a simple Dumai Fuyang moxibustion treatment, and the comprehensive group was treated with Dumai Fuyang moxibustion combined with acupuncture point acupuncture treatment. The treatment in the acupuncture group was once a day,the treatment in the moxibustion group was twice a week, the treatment in the comprehensive group was once a day for acupuncture, the treatment in the Dumai Fuyang moxibustion was twice a week, and the treatment in the above groups was continued for two weeks. Before treatment, after treatment, and 1 month after the end of treatment, the changes were evaluated by visual analogue scale of pain(VAS),knee osteoarthritis WOMAC score, and knee osteoarthritis TCM syndrome score.Efficacy evaluation is based on the standard of recovery, effectiveness, marked effect, and ineffectiveness set by the Standards for Diagnosis and Treatment of TCM Syndrome of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002,and is evaluated after the end of treatment. The patients who completed the course of treatment according to the standard and all the evaluated patients were analyzed statistically, and statistical software SPSS17.0 was used for Results: Among the 90 patients,2 were removed from the moxibustion group for other treatment interventions, and the remaining 88 patients completed treatment, evaluation and follow-up.The gender, age, course of disease,pre-treatment VAS score,WOMAC score, and TCM syndrome score among the three groups were not statistically significant(P> 0.05),suggesting that the three groups are well balanced and comparable. The comparison of intra-group and intra-group scores of the curative effect after treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05),suggesting that the comprehensive group was significantly more effective than the moxibustion and acupuncture groups. Conclusion: Dumai Fuyang moxibustion combined with acupuncture of tendon points for the treatment of yang deficiency and cold coagulation type knee osteoarthritis has a more significant effect than pure treatment of Dumai Fuyang moxibustion or pure acupuncture at tendon points.
