| Objective: According to the clinical efficacy of Qidan Baoxin Granules on elderly patients with chronic heart failure of Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis,verify its clinical significance and analyze the mechanism of action.Methods: The 62 elderly patients with chronic heart failure of Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis type were randomly divided into experimental group and control group(31 cases in each).The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the test group was treated with Qidan Baoxin Granules on top of it.The two groups were treated simultaneously for 4 weeks.The efficacy of TCM syndromes,Lee’s heart failure score,NYHA classification of heart function,NT-proBNP,left ventricular ejection fraction and 6-min walk test before and after treatment were evaluated and summarized in the two groups.Results: In terms of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 87.10% and 61.29%,respectively,and the two groups had significant differences(p<0.01).In terms of the efficacy of cardiac function,the total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 83.87% and 54.84%,respectively,and the therapeutic effect of the experimental group was more significant(p<0.01).In terms of the efficacy of heart failure,the effective rates of the test group and the control group were 70.97% and 41.94%,respectively.The test group had better efficacy than the control group(p<0.05).In terms of LVEF value,the difference before and after treatment in the experimental group was(6.19±2.37)%,and the difference between before and after treatment in the control group was(3.74±2.07)%.The improvement of LVEF in the experimental group was more significant than that in the control group(p<0.05).In terms of the 6-min walking distance,the difference in distance before and after treatment in the experimental group was 34.94±16.56 meters,and the difference in distance between before and after treatment in the control group was 14.93±9.37 meters.The therapeutic effect of the experimental group was more accurate(p<0.05).In terms of NT-proBNP,the test group was 2128.79±58.94 before treatment,723.95±56.75 after treatment,2159.68±92.20 before treatment in the control group,and 971.30±283.58 after treatment.It can be seen that the test group can significantly reduce the measured value(p <0.05).Conclusion: Qidan Baoxin Granules have significant effects on improving the symptoms of heart failure,enhancing the heart function of patients,increasing the ejection fraction,reducing NT-proBNP and Lee’s heart failure score,and has no significant effect on various safety indicators.Compared with pure western medicine treatment,the effect is more significant.As a result,Qidan Baoxin Granules are effective,safe and convenient for the treatment of elderly chronic heart failure of Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis,and can be used in clinical practice. |
