Objective According to the Patient-reported clinical outcomes and Developing the Scale for Clinical Curative Effect With the Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures and assessmenting the Scale of reliability, validity and responsiveness scientifically, to make it more widely used in the clinical efficacy evaluation,improve the thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures evaluation system.Method According to the principle and processes of PRO scale, combining with the theoretical knowledge of the Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures, the item pool is formed through extensive literature review, patient interviews,interviews with caregivers,anamnesis inquiry and orthopedic expert interviews.Then,the established item pool can be revised or removed by experts,who can also make some language modifications,Design Scale Format and through Small range of cognitive tests, according to the test results to make it a raw scale. The split-half coefficient about the scale is0.955, the physiological status domain is0.966,the mental status domain is0.674, the social relations domain is0.729. Compared with the total scores and three domain scores of the the Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures and Healthy people, There was significant difference between the two groups in the total scores and three domain scores (P<0.01).Conclusion According to the principle and processes of PRO scale which is made by U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA),Developed the the Scale for Clinical Curative Effect With the Thoracolumbar Vertebral Compression Fractures firstly, which Has good reliability, validity, responsiveness and feasibility, and can be applied to the Thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures clinical efficacy evaluation after through further debugging and optimization.
