Objective Explore the application of phased measurement based on the law of forgetting curve in the health education of patients with arthroscopic Rotator Cuff repair, and study the phase measurement based on the law of forgetting curve to supplement daily care based on patient rehabilitation knowledge, shoulder joint function, shoulder joint scope of activity, pain level.satisfaction,etc.,provide a new set of health education programs for the clinic. Methods An unblinded clinical randomized controlled trial(RCT)was used to enroll 120 patients who were hospitalized in General Hospital of Eastern Theater Command from June 2019 to July 2020 and received arthroscopic rotator cuff repair.Using block randomization, the test group and the control group have the same number of people(n=60).The experimental group carried out periodic health education based on the forgetting curve law,and the control group carried out regular health education. The intervention time is from admission to 3 months after operation. The main observation index is the Constant-Murley score, which is evaluated before surgery,2 weeks and 3 months after surgery.Other observation indicators include:ASES score,UCLA score, the range of motion of the shoulder joint on the surgical side, the patient’s Numeric Rating Scale(1 day before the operation,2 weeks after the operation and 3 months after the operation),and satisfaction with rehabilitation effects(3 months after surgery);stage of the experimental group Sex measurement scores(20 minutes,1 day,2 days,6 days,2 weeks,1 month,3 months after health education).Use IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 for statistical analysis.Results(1)There are a total of 120 patients. There is no significant difference at baseline in general information:gender, age, hospitalization diagnosis, education level, marital status, trauma history, rotator cuff tear size, and rotator cuff history(P>0.05).The baseline is comparable. There is no statistical difference between the two groups of shoulder joint function scores, shoulder joint range of motion, and NRS pain numerical scores before operation(P>0.05).(2)Constant-Murley scores have an interaction effect between groups and time(F interaction=1 17.000,P<0.001).Simple effect analysis shows that after 2 weeks and 3 months of intervention, the score of the test group is higher than that of the control group(t=-11.547,-11.123,P<0.05).The ASES score of patients has an interaction between groups and time(F interaction=9.212,P<0.001).A simple effect analysis showed that the score of the experiment group was higher than that of the control group at 2 weeks and 3 months of intervention.(t=-9.514,-39.33,P<0.05).There is a significant interaction between the UCLA score groups and time(Finteraction=25.672,P<0.001).Through simple effect analysis, the score of the test group in the two phases of postoperative follow-up is higher than that of the control group(t=-22.79,-17.64),P<0.05).There is an interaction effect between the range of motion of the shoulder joint between groups and time, the angle of forward flexion and elevation(Finteraction=18.044,P<0.001),the angle of abduction and elevation(Finteraction=14.855,P<0.001),and the angle of neutral external rotation(Finteraction=45.280,<0.001),simple effect analysis show that after 2 weeks and 3 months of intervention,in the experimental group, the angle of forward flexion and elevation(t=-2.232,-31.95,P<0.05),the angle of abduction and elevation(t=32.95,31.26,P<0.05),the angle of neutral external rotation(t=-8.387,-12.488,P<0.05)are greater than the control group. The Numeric Rating Scale is affected by the interaction between groups and time(Finteraction=15.133,P<0.001).Through a simple effect analysis,it can be seen that the pain score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group in the two phases of postoperative intervention(t=11.667,13.540,P<0.05).After 3 months of intervention,The rehabilitation satisfaction score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(t=-17.64,P<0.05).There are significant differences in the evaluation scores of the experimental groups at each stage(F=100.043,P<0.05),and the overall scores show an upward trend. Conclusion The health education method improved by the forgetting curve theory is scientific, feasible and highly targeted. It helps to strengthen the patient’s rehabilitation knowledge and memory, improve the health education effect, thereby improving the patient’s postoperative rehabilitation effect, and provides a new method for clinical health education.
