Objective Through simply random comparation between self-prepared Qingxuan decoction(QD)combined with Flunarizine Hydrochloride Capsules(FHC)and single-used flunarizine hydrochloride capsules(FHC)to control attack frequency, attack duration,dizziness/dizziness degree,TCM symptom score improvement and dizziness handicap inventory scale for objective evaluation and comparison and observe the adverse reactions that occur during the administration of drugs of vestibular migraine(Vestibular migraine,VM),effective and safety treatment of vestibular migraine is needed to explore. Methods Through screening,72 cases of vestibular migraine patients with phlegm and blood stasis obstructing collateral type were enrolled in accordance with the test criteria. All the included 72 cases were divided into QD+FHC group(self-made Qingxuan Decoction, flugui hydrochloride capsules)and FHC group(flunarizine hydrochloride capsules). The course of treatment was maintained 4 weeks, and the patients were followed up at the end of the 8th week after the drug was stopped with recording the data of frequency and duration of attack, dizziness degree,TCM syndrome scores, dizziness handicap inventory scale and observing the adverse reactions or events during medication for the two groups respectively at the 4th weekends and 8th weekends.Sorted and analyzed clinical data should be recorded objectively and truthfully to evaluate the prevention and treatment effects and adverse reactions of obstructive vestibular migraine by using self-made Qingxuan Decoction combined with Sibelin in the treatment of phlegm and blood. Results There were no statistically significance in terms of age distribution, gender composition, symptom onset frequency, onset duration,dizziness/dizziness degree,TCM syndrome score, dizziness handicap inventory scale,etc.,(P>0.05)within the two groups of evenly distributed VM patients. It is comparable for later treatment. Both the QD+FHC group and the FHC group have improved the various indicators observed in this time(P<0.05).The QD+FHC group was performed better than the FHC group in terms of the duration of symptom onset, the improvement of the total score of TCM syndromes, dizziness handicap inventory scale(P<0.05)),curative effect of TCM symptoms, and the total effective rate.(P<0.05)Conclusion Qingxuan decoction combined with sibelin has obvious advantages in the treatment of vestibular anterior headache compared with sibelin alone. It is better than sibelin alone in shortening the attack time and improving the overall condition of the patients. The treatment of vestibular migraine has the value of continuing to carry out further research and being widely used in clinical practice.
