A Study On The Social Support Of Perinatal Women From The Perspective Of Ethics

Based on the reality of China’s aging population,China proposed to implement a comprehensive second child policy in 2016.Under the influence of this policy,the population of pregnant women has changed.The number of old pregnant women with two children has increased significantly.The incidence of pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes has increased,and the proportion of high-risk pregnant women has also increased.In addition to the changes in physiological status,complex social factors also affect the physical and mental health of perinatal mothers.The environment of mothers is complex,and the types of social support involve many,which is not only a medical problem,but also a lot of factors,such as humanistic care,rules and regulations,ethical principles and so on.However,the "ethics" of mediators is inefficient,useless and even lacking.How to overcome the contradiction between"law" and "ethic" or what limit to allow the reasonable existence of such contradiction is worth exploring.Through literature and questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews,the problems of social support for perinatal women are summarized as follows:(1)the structure of social support network is simple,even there is a lack of components;(2)the relevant laws and regulations are imperfect and conflicting;(3)the work of perinatal health care in China is not in place.The main problems discussed in the ethical aspect are:the discord ethics in the existing system,the conflict between law and ethics,the absoluteness of authorization,the lack of trust between doctors and patients,the "no support" of family members for perinatal women,the "no realization" of womenfolk’s rights,the vague responsibility for health,etc.Therefore,this paper clarifies the concepts related to the social support of perinatal maternal,and focuses on the following two key issues:why to study the social support of this group(its ethical value),how to ethically improve the path of social support for perinatal women,especially the institutional ethic,family ethic and other issues involved,and fully respect womenfolk’s human rights,reproductive rights.Finally,put forward the corresponding ethical suggestions,follow the basic ethical standards,and construct a "hospital-community-family" health care model with the government as the main guide.
