The Quality Evaluation Criteria Of Ethic Continuing Review And The Strategy Of Information Platform Construction

Continuing review is a very important part of medical research ethic review,it is no less crucial than the prime review in terms of protecting the rights of the subjects,however,due to various of reasons,insufficient attention is paid to continuing review process at present.In order to improve the quality of continuing review,the computerized way is of great necessities: it contributes to the accuracy and efficiency of IRB,it enhances the normalization of ethic review process,it helps to protect the privacy of the subjects.Therefore,this essay takes the continuing review job of a medical institution as the studying object,focusing on the building of the quality evaluation criteria and the construction of its information platform.Firstly,we introduced the fundamental conception and the current situation of ethic review both inside and outside China,selected the programs that filed in as samples,built a quality evaluation criteria of continuing review and performed an assessment of it.There are four elements in the assessment,namely,the Time Point,the Description of Report,the Fill-in Regulations and the Response Degree,the rating standard is of minimal difference according to diverse types of continuing review.Via the marks that obtained,we analyzed the issues that occured in practical work and listed them in the form of “fish bone”,then,figured out the cause of them.Finally,it comes to the conclusion that an informational path is the most effective way to solve those problems.Secondly,based on demand,we developed the ethic review management system,made the automation function possible in the ethic review process.We set several specific functional modules,including statistics and query,regular reminder of continuing ethic review,reserved interface so on so force.After using the software,we gave a mark to the program again abide by the same standard,the result turned to be with statistical difference.Hence,it proves that information management does have effectiveness in solving the problem.At last,we tried to set up a pre-warning system of continuing ethic review,so that the supervision function of IRB can be more positively executed,the program design and temporary achievement were displayed in the article as well.This study put a great emphasis on the importance of continuing ethic review in the field of medical research.The building of continuing review criteria can improve its quality and regulate its development,besides,as an important means of approaching a high-level ethic review,software engineering and platform construction contribute a lot,it will promote the healthy development of medical research and medical care at large.
