Abstract/Summary:
Background and purposes:Bronchial asthma is a common frequently-occurring clinical disease. In the treatment of asthma we can sometimes control the symptoms, but we cannot achieve a radical cure to it,so it,s significant for us to explore the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma. It,s also important for us to detect the pathogenesis using TCM theory that can explian the function of the lung.Through the application of modern advanced technology and the continuous efforts of many scholars,it has been found that there is a close relationship between the lung and blood, and the incidence of asthma also have an inseparable relationship with blood. This study aims at analyzing the relevant examination results of asthma patients, and detecting the change of coagulation index of asthma patients, and analyzing the change of coagulation function. The relationship between lung and blood was discussed, and the relationship between the incidence of asthma and the existence of blood stasis was discussed by studying the records of the physiological function of lung in ancient literatures.Based on the changes of blood coagulation system in asthma patients, the relationship between lung and blood, and the distribution law of syndromes in asthma patients,we will detect how the the blood stasis affcets asthma,we will also discuss the treatment of asthma from blood stasis in order to improve the level of clinical diagnosis and treatment of asthma.Methods:121 patients with bronchial asthma who were hospitalized in Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2017 to 2019.5 were screened, and we analyze the general condition, age and sex distribution of the patients,we also analyze the changes of related indicators in different age groups and the syndrome distribution of the asthma patients. At the same time,120 cases of non-asthmatic patients were collected to analyze the changes of indicators as a comparison with asthma patients.SPSS software was used to process the data and carry out normal test for the quantitative data. Those conforming to normal distribution were tested by independent sample T test, while those failing to conform to normal distribution were tested by nonparametric test. The test level was taken asα=0.05,and the difference was statistically significant if P < 0.05 on both sides.Results:1.There is no statistical significance in age between men and women(P>0.05).Asthma patients are divided into four groups according to different age(20-40,41-60,61-80 and over 80).Among the four groups, the dominant age group was 40-60,59 cases(accounting for 48.8%).There are statistically significant differences in D-Dimer(P<0.05),PT.IRN(P<0.05),PT-%(P<0.05),Fib(P<0.05),LYMPH#(P<0.05)and EO#(P<0.05).2.Between asthma and non-asthma patients,D-Dimer(P<0.05),PT(P<0.05),Fib(P<0.05)and TT(P< 0.05),PCT(P<0.05),WBC(P<0.05),NEUT#(P<0.05),and the LYMP#(P<0.05)have statistical significance.3.Among the syndromic distribution of asthma patients,phlegm-heat obstructing the lung accounts for the largest proportion(47.1%),and phlegm-heat obstructing the lung,phlegm-turbidity obstructing the lung, and wind-phlegm-obstructing the lung are the three main syndromic manifestations, accounting for 81.8% of the total syndromic manifestations. There are some changes in the indexes of coagulation in the distribution of syndromes with stasis. In the deficiency of lung qi,the changes of DDimer(P<0.05),Fib(P<0.05)and MONO#(P<0.05)are statistically different between the two groups. The MONO#(P<0.05)and EO#(P<0.05)are significantly different in sputum heat obstructed lung. The changes of PT(P<0.05)and Fib(P<0.05)are statistically significant inphlegm-turbidity obstructing the lung. The changes of D-Dimer(P<0.05)and Fib(P<0.05)are statistically significant in wind-induced sputum obstruction of lung.Conclusions:1.There are significant abnormalities in coagulation related indexes in asthma patients, especially Fib and D-Dimer.Other indexes, such as PT and PT-%,also show certain changes, suggesting that the blood of asthma patients may have high coagulation state. There are changes between different age in indexs of coagulation.2.The ratio of platelets is relatively higher, indicating that platelets may play a role in the pathogenesis of asthma. The absolute values of white blood cells and neutrophils are statistically significant.3.During the acute attack of asthma, the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing the lung,wind-induced phlegm-obstructing the lung, and phlegm-turbidity obstructing the lung are common. In some patients, over time, signs of blood stasis can be shown, and in some patients with blood stasis, changes of coagulation related indicators can be observed.
