| Objective: Pathological changes of asthma are qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm obstruction, so the methods of relieving cough and asthma should be used combined with promoting blood circulation and removing stasis. When stasis is removed, phlegm and dampness can be eliminated. The author in this paper applied Zhixiao decoction to treat asthma. By observing the curative effect of this prescription, the author aims at assessing the important role on method of promoting blood circulation and removing stasis at the attack sage of asthma.Methotd: 100 patients of asthma were divided by two groups randomly and equally. Treatment group were given Zhixiao decoction, control group took Kechuanling Keli. After treatment, two groups were contrasted and analyzed by SPSS13.0.Result: (1) The treatment group showed obvious effect, better than control group in 100 case of asthma. The total effective rate was 95%. (2) There was significant difference not only in cough, asthma, cyanosis but in tongue coating and pulse between treatment group and control group.Conclusion: The curative effect in the treatment group is superior to the one in the control group on the asthma at acute stage. It indicates that there is marked curative effect on Zhixiao decoction and the method of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis plays an important role in the treatment of asthma, which deserves to be applied throughout treatment. |
