| ObjectiveTo compare the efficacy of jue-tone Chinese music combined with acupuncture and acupuncture alone on primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,so as to provide clinical reference.MethodsThis was a randomised and controlled trial.A total of 70 patients from the gynaecology and acupuncture outpatients of GuangDong Second Hospital of TCM were enrolled and randomly allocated by a computer randomisation system to the treatment or the control group in a 1:1 ratio.The treatment group underwent 3 cycles of acupuncture combined with jue-tone Chinese music while the control group only underwent 3 cycles of acupuncture,both with identical acupoints(Qi hai,Guan yuan,Sanyinjiao(double),Taichong(double),Xuehai(double)),treatments and course,which began 5 days before menstruation,lasted for 7 days and follwed after 3 cycles.The mainly outcome were dysmenorrhea symptom score,VAS,SAS and SDS,performed by the SPSS program V.21.0.Results32 cases were included in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group.(1)Dysmenorrhea symptom score:Both groups could significantly reduced the dysmenorrhea symptom score(sharing the P=0.000<0.05),without statistical difference between them(P=0.131>0.05):(2)VAS score:Both groups could significantly reduced the VAS score(sharing the P=0.000<0.05),while the treatment group had an outstanding advantage by contrast(P=0.000<0.05);(3)SAS score:Both groups could significantly reduced the SAS score(sharing the P=0.000<0.05),while the treatment group had an outstanding advantage by contrast(P=0.000<0.05).(4)SDS score:Both groups could significantly reduced the SDS score(sharing the P=0.000<0.05),without statistical difference between them(P=0.074>0.05).ConclusionJue-tone Chinese music combined with acupuncture is significantly effective on primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,and has a better advantage on reducing pain and relieving anxiety. |
