Objective : To observe the clinical effect of sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions on precision intervention(acute attack period)of cold asthma,so as to find a new strategy for diagnosis and effective treatment of asthma.Methods:70 cases that met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group A(sequential therapy of classical prescriptions+western medicine therapy)and control group B(western medicine therapy),with 35 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy, symptoms and signs, lung function,ACT score were observed before and after treatment. Results:The differences in the improvement of symptoms, signs, lung function and ACT score between internal group A and group B before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the above indexes were improved by the two treatment methods. After two weeks of treatment, the differences in wheezing, chest stuffiness, sputum volume, cold body limb cold, and improvement of ACT score between group A and group B was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the difference in lung function improvement was also statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that group A had better curative effect than group B;However, there was no significant difference in the improvement of wheezing sound and cough between group A and group B(P>0.05),indicating that the two treatment methods had the same curative effect in improving the above indexes. In terms of the clinical efficacy of western medicine, the total effective rate and control rate in group A are 94.1% and 52.9% respectively, while those in group B are 72.7% and 27.3% respectively.the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of western medicine in group A is better than that in group B;In terms of TCM syndrome curative effect, the total effective rate and control and manifestation rate in group A are 94.1% and 58.8%respectively,and in group B are 72.7% and 18.2% respectively.the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the improvement of TCM syndromes in group A is better than that in group B.Conclusion:1.Sequential therapy of classical prescriptions combined with western medicine is an effective method to treat cold asthma, and its curative effect is better than that of western medicine alone.2.Compared with simple western medicine therapy, sequential therapy of classical prescriptions combined with western medicine therapy has advantages in improving the improvement rates of wheezing, chest stuffiness, sputum volume, cold limbs,ACT score,FEV1,FEV1/FVC%,and FEV1.The therapeutic mechanism of sequential therapy with classical prescriptions for asthma is worth further study.3.The sequential therapy of classical prescriptions combined with western medicine is equivalent to the simple western medicine in improving cough and wheezing.
