| Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Modified Gegenqinlian Decoction Combined with Auricular Point Pressing Beans in Treating Metabolic Syndrome(MS),and to explore a new approach to the treatment of MS with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.Methods: 90 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups,namely,control group,TCM(traditional Chinese medicine)group,TCM combined with auricular acupoint pressing beans group,30 patients in each group.The control group was given basic treatment(including diet intervention,exercise intervention and western medicine treatment).The TCM group was treated with modified gegenqinlian decoction on the basis of basic treatment.The TCM combined with auricular acupoint pressing beans group was treated with modified gegenqinlian decoction and the ear beans on the basis of foundation treatment.All 3 groups were observed for 12 weeks.Mainly to observe the improvement of TCM symptoms and signs before and after treatment and the improvement of laboratory-related indicators related to MS.Results: According to clinical data,in the improvement of TCM symptoms and signs,both the TCM group and the TCM combined with auricular acupoint pressing beans group had obvious advantages compared with the control group,and the The TCM combined with auricular acupoint pressing beans group was superior to TCM group.In the improvement of MS related laboratory indicators,as for as FPG,2h PBG,Hb A1 c,TC and HDL-C,the TCM group and the TCM were both superior to the control group.And no adverse reactions were observed during the observation.Conclusion: Modified Gegenqinlian decoction combined with auricular point pressing beans can effectively relieve the symptoms and laboratory indicators of damp-heat intrinsic MS with few adverse reactions. |
