Observation Of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan Jia Wei Formula For The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Thoracolumbar Vertebral Fracture Patients Whose Kidney Essences Are Deficient

Objective To study the clinical curative effect of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan which treats osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral fracture patients in line with deficiency of kidney essences pattern,providing the basis for the clinical use of drugs.Methods Sixty cases of osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures hospitalized patients in line with deficiency of kidney essences patter were selected from April 2012 to June 2015 in our department.According to the order that patients entered the trial,the patients were divided into two groups according to the random number table:anti-osteoporosis therapy(Miacalcic+Caltrate D+Rocaltrol+exercise therapy)are used for control group,anti-osteoporosis treatment(same with the control group)were joint with Liu Wei Di Huang Wan Jia Wei formula(Liu Wei Di Huang Wan+Achyranthes,Eucommia,Atractylodes,Drynaria)were used for treatment group,Course of the treatment was a month.The curative effect and symptom scores were compared after one month,Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was used to observe pain in patients respectively before and after treatment,PICP、N-MID and β-CTX’s are tested before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 96.6%,control group total effective rate was 93.3%,statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Lumbar back symptom of the two groups were improved after the treatment,the curative effect rate and symptom scores was statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS scores of the two groups were significantly lower after 1 month,VAS scores were statistically significant(P<0.05).Serum N-MID、β-CTX of the two group are not statistically significant after treatment(P>0.05),serum PICP of the treatment group increased significantly after the treatment compared with the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Liu Wei Di Huang Wan formula joint with anti-osteoporosis therapy could improve the clinical symptoms of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral fracture patients after the treatment,especially lumbar back pain,it is effective,safe,reliable,worthy of promotion.
