Clinical Observation Of Bushen Migu Decoction In The Treatment Of Primary Osteoporosis (Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective:To observe the Bushenmigu Decoction in the treatment of primary osteoporosis(kidney-yang deficiency)clinical efficacy and safety,provide the basis for clinical application.Method:This study was carried out in the first hospital affiliated to Hunan University of Chinese Medicine in Changde,the 60 patients are choose from the outpatient department in accordance with the requirements of primary osteoporosis(kidney-yang deficiency),by a completely randomized controlled design method,the subjects were divided into treatment group of 30 cases,30 cases in the control group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with Bushenmigu decoction,the control group received Xianlinggubao capsule.One courses of treatment for 12 weeks.Two groups of patients were recorded related Bone metabolism index,bone density,TCM syndrome score and safety indicators before treatment and at the end of the One course of treatment,finally were compared between the two groups after treatment in patients with clinical symptoms,bone mineral density,safety evaluation and clinical curative effect of Bushen Migu decoction.Results:1.Comparison of TCM syndrome curative effect,the Treatment group was 86.7%,the control group was 83.3%,there was no Significant difference in the efficacy of the two groups(P>0.05),two groups of TCM symptoms after treatment compared with before treatment were obviously improved,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);lumbar and femoral neck BMD were increased in two groups after treatment,the improvement was no significant difference(P>0.05),after treatment of Bone metabolism index between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.In the clinical study,the safety evaluation of the two groups(ECG and laboratory tests,etc.)index was not found normal before treatment become abnormal after treatment.Conclusions:The clinical study showed that Bushenmigu decoction can effectively improve the primary osteoporosis(kidney yang deficiency)TCM symptoms in patients with medication,and in the process,has no side effect on liver?renal?blood routine and other related safety indicators,is a safe and effective herbal medicine,worthy of further clinical promotion.
