China has entered in to an important period of building a well-off society in an all-round way in the year of 2020.There are many significant tasks to be done in the field of agriculture, farmers and rural areas.Under the circumstances of new economy and society, how to enhance the human capital of migrant workers, who are the main body of industrial workers, has been an issue in the process of sustainable development of economy and new-type urbanization in China. To explore ways to improve the health condition of migrant workers, this paper focuses on the current health status of migrant workers in China, then studies how social capital of migrant workers makes influence on their health condition.Based on the framework of Grossman Health Demand Model and Social Capital Theory, the paper divides social capital into three dimensions, and then empirically analyzes the effects of social capital on both physical and mental health of migrant workers with the methods of factor analysis and IV-Probit model by using the cross-sectional data of China Labor-force Dynamic Survey in 2014.The final regression result shows that the overall level of social capital of migrant workers has a significant positive impact on their physical and mental health, and the same positive result on the health also occurs in regression results of social network and trust and norms, which are three dimensions of social capital in the paper.
