Suspension By Weilamei Combining Fat Volume Reduction In Cheek Area For The Small Incision Rhytidectomy In The Middle And Lower Face

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of "A small incision rhytidectomy with suspension by Weilamei combining fat volume reduction in cheek area" in rejuvenation of middle and lower face.Methods:Selected 20 cases of middle and lower face aging patients from January 2016 to February 2019,performed "A small incision rhytidectomy with suspension by weilamei lifting belt combining fat volume reduction in cheek area".By using oblique incision within about 3 cm long behind temporal hairline,regionally dissected above zygomatic arch area,zygomatic arch area and the midface.Impanted Weilamei lifting belt to raise the separated facial skin flap and firmly fixed in the deep temporal fascia,combined fat volume reduction and superficial temporal fascia suspension,to achieve the volume reduction and tissue reduction in the middle and lower face.After 1 year follow-up,respectively evaluated the nasolabial sulcus,marionette lines and the jawline by the third-party grading scale,imeasuring the width proportion of the middle face,used SPSS 25.0 statistical software,to analyze the difference between various postoperative periods with the preoperative period,and follow-up to the satisfaction and the postoperative complications.Results:The satisfaction rate of overall facial cosmetic effect was 95% at 3 months after surgery,85% at 6 months after surgery,and 75% at 1 year after surgery.Three months after the surgery,6 months after surgery and 1 year after surgery,the average facial width of the angulus oris level respectively decreased by 4.7%,3.3%,0.6% compared with that before the surgery,and the average facial width proportion of the middle point of angulus oris and alar respectively decreased by4.7%,3.3%,0.6% compared with that before the surgery.The nasolabial sulcus,The marionette and the mandibular morphology were improved at 3 months,6 months and 1 year after the surgery(P < 0.05).There was no severe postoperative complication such as hematoma,infection,obvious postoperative pain,expression stiffness,permanent numbness of the operation area,baldness,etc.Conclusion:By using oblique incision behind temporal hairline,regionally dissecting above the temporal and cheek area,applying the rhytidectomy with suspension by Weilamei combining fat volume reduction in cheek area can effectively reduce the middle and lower face width,restore the loose face tight,improve nasolabial sulcus and marionette lines,optimize the jawline.The surgical effect lasting with fewer operative trauma and high safety.It is a kind of effective rejuvenation in the middle and lower face,which worth clinical promotion.
