Objective:We performed a retrospective study on patient satisfaction following the clinical application of cheek and temporal rhytidectomy. We assume this can be served as a reference information for face antiaging. Methods:During January 2010 to March 2016,totally 104 patients are performed cheek and temporal rhytidectomy or combination with facial fat transfer in the 17th department.Forty-five patients were followed up ultimately, eighteen of which combined with fat grafting. We evaluated the outcomes, which included the actual surgical treatment, postoperative complications and satisfaction of surgical effect through the FACE-Q survey and Owsley Facelift Satisfaction Survey. The SPSS software was used to analyze the obtained data. Results:This study included 104 cases facial aging patients, among which the 45 cases were followed up.One is male, and 44 were female, ranging in age from 28 to 68 years with a average age of 47.5 years. The total postoperative follow-up time is from 12 months to 72 months.Twenty-seven patients were treated with cheek and temporal rhytidectomy, and eighteen patients combined with facial fat transplantation.8.89%of the patients expressed of no improvement.48.89%of the patients showed little improvement.28.89%of the patients had moderate improvement.11.11%of the patients reflected the improvement was very good.2.22%of the patients said that the result improved more than their expectation.82.22%of the patients said that the surgery deserved, while 17.78%of the patients said the operation was undeserving. All patients got no infection,no facial nerve injury,no face stiff,no surgical failure and serious complications. And all incision got primary healing. Conclusion:This study demonstrates that people who took cheek and temporal rhytidectomy could get satisfactory outcomes, whether or not with face fat grafting. When rhytidectomy combined with fat grafting, skin rejuvenation can be obtained. In addition, skin sagging and volume deficiency can be resolved simultaneously. These approaches appear to be a promising method for facial antiaging.
