Investigation On Agronomic Characters And Quality Comparison Of 20 Muskmelon Germplasm Resources In Xinjiang

Melon is a dominant agricultural product in Xinjiang,and has been cultivated in a large area in Xinjiang.At present,the data of Xinjiang melon germplasm resources information database is not perfect,and many varieties have not been entered into the information database.Through the investigation and quality comparison of the agronomic characters of Xinjiang melon germplasm resources,the resource types are understood,so as to provide materials and data support for the breeding of new varieties.In this experiment,Xinjiang muskmelon germplasm resources were used as test materials to further improve the data information of Xinjiang muskmelon germplasm resource bank by recording the agronomic and quality characters of 5 organs in the growth cycle of muskmelon,including leaf,vine,flower,seed and fruit.The results are as follows:(1)The characters of five organs of melon,including leaf,vine,flower,fruit and seed,were different in different degrees.The average diversity index of leaves was 0.58;The flower diversity index was 0.58;The seed diversity index was 0.49;The expression of fruit traits was the most abundant,the diversity index was 0.77,and the diversity index of 19 traits was more than 0.5.(2)The relationship of muskmelon germplasm traits in Xinjiang was distinguished,and the data were clustered into 4 categories.The comprehensive traits of group 1 were better,group 2 was second,and the comprehensive traits of group 3 and group 4 were worse.In the follow-up research of muskmelon germplasm resources in Xinjiang,the germplasm of group 1 or group 2 can be selected for breeding research.(3)The 13 agronomic and quality characters of muskmelon germplasm were analyzed by principal component analysis.Five principal components were selected according to the principle that the eigenvalue was greater than 1.According to its normalized eigenvector,eigenvalue and principal component analysis factor score,the principal component score,comprehensive score and ranking of melon were obtained.The results showed that among the 20 Xinjiang local germplasms,the top ones were T1,T20 and T12 with better comprehensive characters.
