Germplasm resources play an important role and regard as the basis germplasm in the process of plant breeding.Potatoes breeding research are started relatively late and relatively deficient in China.The main factors of genetic background single and closer genetic relationship restricted the improvement and innovation of Chinese potatoes germplasm.To solve the problem of potato germplasm resources shortage in Gansu Province,we introduced 97 potatoes strains from CIP at 2014 year and comprehensive evaluated many indicators,including agronomic traits,yield traits,quality traits,adaptability,stability and mean and drought tolerance,and in order to screen integrated good traits and provide germplasm protection for potato germplasm improvement and innovation.The comprehensive evaluation system of potato germplasm provide a theoretical basis for selecting and comprehensiving evaluation of potato germplasm resources in this study.The main results of this study were as follows:1.The results of analytic hierarchy process analysis showed that(1)The weight of yield traits was largest in criterion layer,followed by quality traits and agronomic traits.(2)Plant height and stem diameter were heavier in agronomic traits,and the weight of yield was significant in yield traits.Starch content and protein content were significant in quality traits,and the weight of reducing sugar content was lower,which was in accordance with the current breeding target of potatoes.(3)Comprehensive scores showed that the introduction of potato germplasm resources were divided into seven categories,the first category potato resources were high-yield and high-quality.The second category had long root length,high chlorophyll content and low reducing sugar content.Only individual traits was fine in third to sixth categories,the seventh category of synthetic material was general that could be preserved as germplasm resources.2.The results of adaptability,stability and mean of comprehensive evaluation showed that(1)C77 and C51 had a good adaptability in Jingtai county,C116 was good at planting in Neiguan town of Dingxi city,C89 adaptability was high in Lujiaguo and Xiangquan town of Ding Xi city in Gan Su province.(2)The stability of strains were C49>C46>C116>C112>C93.(3)The mean of strains were C89>C116>C93>C97>C112>C49>C46>C67.3.The results of comprehensive evaluation of sites showed that(1)Representativeness of site were L15 > N15 > J16 > DM16 > J15 > DD16.(2)Discrimination of sites were DM16>DD16>L15>N15>J15>J16,DM16 and DD16 that had good discrimination and representativeness and were suitable for using in future trials,Jingtai was poor,we would be removed this site.4.The results of introduction of potato germplasm resources drought tolerance that using Gen Stat software showed that(1)6 drought tolerance than Yunshu No 902,and 20 drought tolerance than Hezuo No 88,9 drought tolerance than Yunshu No 103,27 drought tolerance than Dingshu No 3,8 drought tolerance than Zhongshu No18,27 drought tolerance than Dingshu No 1.(2)Dingshu No.1 was not suitable for control species for drought tolerance evaluation.5.The results of selecting hybrid parental materials and predicting for hybrid combinations showed that(1)High yield of hybrid combinations numbers were 9.(2)High starch content of hybrid combinations numbers were 9.(3)Relatively low reducing sugar content of hybrid combinations numbers were 8.(4)High dry content of hybrid combinations numbers were 6.(5)C127,C44 and C46 were the most hybrid parental materials for hybrid combinations.6.C46,C49,C112 and C116 had good comprehensive traits,strong adaptability,high stability,high yield and strong drought tolerance.
