Analysis Of The Impact On Production Performance And Economic Benefits After The Outbreak Of PRRS In Pig Farms And Study On The Monitoring Of PRRS Antibody In Some Large-scale Pig Farm In Jiangxi Province

In this study,a PRRS outbreak in a large-scale farming and animal husbandry enterprise was used to evaluate the production of the pig farm during the onset of the disease,explore a series of possible causes,and analyze the impact of the PRRS outbreak on the production performance and economic benefits of the pig farm before and after the outbreak.In addition,based on the actual situation of PRRS infection in pig farms,in order to understand the prevention and control of pig blue ear disease(PRRS)in Jiangxi Province,from 2018 to 2019,Fuzhou,Ganzhou,Ji’an,Jiujiang,Nanchang,Shangrao,Yichun and Yingtan A total of 10494 serum samples collected from 362 farms in 8 regional pig farms were tested for PRRSV antibodies.The results are as follows:(1)There were mainly six biosecurity loopholes in the pig farm,including purchase of breeding pigs and semen,employees and visitors,rodent and bird control,disease management,delivery room and breastfeeding,and differentiated management of materials and equipment between different houses.(2)During the onset of the pig farm,the proportion of sows born prematurely was as high as 30.88%,and the proportion of stillbirths in sows reached 36.12%;(3)The proportion of stillbirths in the boar semen purchased was generally higher than that of boar semen in the farm.The breeding situation of pig semen is not ideal,and the possibility of the transmission of PRRS by boar semen is not ruled out;(4)After the outbreak of PRRS in pig farms,the overall production level has declined,mainly reflected in: low number of live piglets,low weaning number per litter,low estrus rate,high NPD,low PSY;(5)During the onset period(3 months),the production cost increased 41 The cost of dead pig breeding increased by 15,9624 yuan,a total of 8910 weaned piglets,and a total loss of 137,8377 yuan.The economic loss of the pig farm due to the outbreak of PRRS needs to be compensated by sustained profit for a long time;(6)The results of antibody monitoring on some large-scale pig farms in Jiangxi Province showed that the overall PRRSV antibody positive rate in Jiangxi Province reached 79.95%,which was 70% higher than the national standard;the PRRSV antibody positive rates of sows,nursery pigs and finishing pigs were 88.03%,68.23%and 83.18% in order;different regions The PRRSV antibody positive rate was different in Shangrao area,reaching 83.78%,followed by Ji’an,Fuzhou,Yichun,Jiujiang,Yingtan,and Nanchang,and Ganzhou area was the lowest at 75.24%;the PRRSV antibody positive rate in the four quarters was 70%.Of the above,the first half(first and second quarters)were higher than the second half(third and fourth quarters).In conclusion: The pig farm should pay great attention to the implementation of biosafety prevention and control measures,and regularly assess the biosafety risks of the farm to reduce the economic loss caused by the disease to the pig farm.The results of PRRS antibody monitoring showed that the prevention and control of PRRS in different areas of large-scale pig farms in Jiangxi Province are quite different,and the control and purification of PRRS in pigs are more severe.
