Classical swine fever(CSF)and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)are the most threatening and national compulsory immune diseases in China. Both of them are viral infection with serious economic burden in pig farms widely distributed in the world.Vaccination is usually used to stimulate immune response of pigs in some epidemic areas, and then some effective antibodies are obtained to prevent and control the outbreak of these diseases. In order to ensure the overall disease resistance of the pig population,a high standard of whole antibody level must be maintained in large-scale pig farms.Antibody level monitoring is the best way to test the whole vaccine antibody level and also is a key to manage and control the diseases. This study was conducted to monitor the immune antibodies of CSF and PRRS of pigs from nine large-scale pig farms in Shenyang from 2016 to 2018.A total of 1920 blood samples were collected from 9 large-scale pig farms in 27 times in Shenyang area, and antibody level monitoring was taken by the method of enzyme linked immunoadsorption assay(ELISA).The results can provide some reference information for the prevention and control of CSF and PRRS in Shenyang area. The results are as follows: According to both of the chronological sequence of sample collection and the scale of pig farms from small, middle to large, the average detection rate of CSF were 85.9% in 2016,87.8% in 2017 and 89.6% in 2018,at the same time, the average detection rate of PRRS were 83.1% in 2016,85.6% in 2017,and 89.1% in 2018.These results showed that:(1)The qualified rate of overall antibody level reached a relatively high level of 83%,which were higher than that of 70% prescribed by the state, indicating that the immunization is qualified in Shenyang area.(2)The immune effect is getting better year by year with a rising trend in the qualified rate of overall antibody level of these nine large-scale pig farms, revealing much more attention was drawn to prevent and control significant animal epidemic diseases in large-scale pig farms.(3)The qualified rate of larger pig farms is higher than that of small and middle-size pig farms especially small farms, implying that it is essential to enhance the immunization of CSF and PRRS for pigs in small and middle-size pig farms so as to achieve an efficient and safe breeding level. |
