| With China’s urbanization has entered the stage of in-depth development,the per capita income level of Chinese residents has been greatly improved,the living standard of residents has been continuously improved,and the consumption structure and total consumption of livestock and poultry products have also undergone obvious changes.In fact,the development of urbanization in the future may bring some new impacts on the consumption of livestock and poultry products.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the current situation of livestock and poultry products consumption of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province,it is of great practical significance to study the impact of urbanization on various livestock and poultry products consumption of residents in Jilin Province,and put forward relevant policy suggestions.Previous literature shows that the continuous promotion of urbanization has a positive effect on the growth of livestock and poultry products consumption.In order to measure the impact of urbanization on the consumption of various livestock and poultry products of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province,this study conducted a systematic review of domestic and foreign literature,mainly including urbanization,livestock and poultry products consumption and their impact mechanism.After that,this study analyzes the current situation of urbanization and the consumption of livestock and poultry products of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province from 1994 to 2018.Then it analyzes some main factors that affect residents’ consumption of all kinds of livestock and poultry products,including residents’ per capita disposable income based on time series data,price index of all kinds of livestock and poultry products,and urbanization rate.The multiple linear regression model of urbanization and the consumption of meat,eggs and milk of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province was established to analyze the impact of urbanization on the consumption of various livestock and poultry products of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province.The results show that the urbanization rate has a consistent impact on the consumption of all kinds of livestock and poultry products,that is,urbanization has a positive effect on the consumption growth of meat,eggs and milk of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province.With the continuous improvement of the level of urbanization,the consumption of meat,eggs and milk of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province will maintain a growth state in the future,among which milk is a kind of livestock and poultry products with the fastest urbanization development.According to the research and analysis,based on the empirical results,combined with the actual situation of Jilin Province,in order to better meet the demand of meat,eggs and milk consumption of urban and rural residents in Jilin Province,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: in production,adjust the structure of animal husbandry,optimize the industrial layout of livestock and poultry products,and build a standardized production system.In terms of circulation,the government should formulate corresponding market circulation policies and strengthen quality and safety management.In terms of consumption,we should increase the income of rural residents,innovate consumption patterns and guide reasonable consumption concepts.Speed up the process of urbanization. |
