| The data and diagnostic reports of canine infectious diseases,canine distemper and canine parvovirus in the urban areas of Dalian(including Zhongshan,Xigang,Shahekou and Ganjingzi)during the five years from June 2013 to June 2018 were collected.The epidemic situation of canine distemper disease and canine parvovirus disease in Dalian city were investigated and analyzed.The methods of epidemiology and prevention and control were used to analyze the epidemic situation of canine distemper disease and parvovirus disease in dogs.The epidemic characteristics,epidemic trend and treatment methods of canine distemper and canine parvovirus in Dalian city were analyzed in order to provide scientific theoretical basis for prevention and control of canine infectious diseases and diagnosis for animals.Treatment facilities(including animal clinics and animal hospitals)provide guidance and reference for the treatment of canine distemper and canine parvovirus disease.From June 2013 to June 2018,there were 1659 dogs suffering from canine distemper and canine parvovirus infectious diseases,of which 1224 were canine parvovirus,with an annual incidence of 14.8%.There were 435 cases of canine distemper disease,with an annual incidence of 5.2%.In this paper,the following results were obtained by epidemiological and control investigation:1.The incidence of canine parvovirus was higher than that of canine distemper.2.Canine parvovirus and canine distemper are associated with season.It was found that the number of cases started in April of each year decreased significantly,and the incidence rate from May to October was relatively low,accounting for 40.11% and 39.77% of the total number of cases in the whole year,respectively.The number of cases began to rise gradually from November to April,and the number of cases in January to April and November to December was relatively high.3.The administrative areas of canine parvovirus cases were Ganjingzi area and Shahekou area,accounting for 61.52% of all dogs suffering from canine parvovirus disease,and canine distemper cases were mainly distributed in Ganjingzi area,accounting for 49.20% of all dogs suffering from canine distemper.4.The susceptible breeds of canine parvovirus were mainly poodle,husky and pine lion,accounting for 17.40%,15.03%,17.24%,respectively.The susceptible breeds of canine distemper were Chihuahua,Golden Retriever and Husky,accounting for 21.84%,17.24% and 14.71% respectively.It was found that the incidence of canine distemper and canine parvovirus disease in pure breed dogs was higher than that in hybrid dogs.5.The incidence of canine parvovirus was lower in canine parvovirus-infected dogs than that of 1-5-month-old dogs,and the incidence of parvovirus-infected dogs was lower than that of 1-5-month-old puppies.The incidence of canine distemper in dogs younger than 1 year old was lower than that of young dogs aged 1 to 6 months,and the incidence of canine distemper was lower in dogs aged 1 months to 6 months.6.In terms of gender,male dogs are more susceptible to canine parvovirus and canine distemper than females.7.The incidence number of immunized dogs was lower than that of non-immunized dogs,and the symptoms of the dogs after artificial passive immunization were mild and easy to cure.8.The cure rate of canine distemper is not high,there is bad risk of recovery,the mortality of canine parvovirus is low,and the cure rate is high.The therapeutic effect of monoclonal antibody is better. |
