Research On Epidemic Prevention And Treatments Of Canine Distemper

Canine distemper is an epidemic disease with frequent occurrence,high contact and high death rate among dogs.It can occur on a large scale and bring huge economic losses to the pet dog breeding industry.It is one of the greatest risks in the pet dog breeding industry.therefore,the research on CDV is of great significance.Objective: this study intends to obtain relevant data through epidemic prevention and treatment experiments of canine distemper,so as to serve as a basis for formulating epidemic prevention and treatment plans and provide references for epidemic prevention and treatment of canine distemper.Methods: in experiment 1,40 local dogs were selected and divided into 3 experimental groups and 1 control group,with 10 dogs in each group.inoculation and antibody level tests were carried out.In experiment 2,20 vaccinated and unvaccinated puppies were selected and divided into two groups for treatment test,and the test results were compared.Test 3: 40 dogs of the same age were selected and divided into 4 groups.the test method was anatomical treatment and observation.In experiment 4,20 canine distemper dogs with similar age and weight were randomly divided into 5 groups with 4 dogs in each group and treated independently.The first group did not receive treatment.The second group was treated with biological agent therapy.The third group was treated with symptomatic and adjuvant therapy.The fourth group was treated with Chinese veterinary therapy.The fifth group was treated with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine.Results: in experiment 1,the total number of dogs in the healthy dogs group was the largest under the condition of high titer(> 1: 64 sn),followed by the dogs group that failed to adapt to the environment.At the same time,the number of dogs with negative antibody level was 4,among which the number of sick dogs was 2,and the number of non-weaned dogs and dogs unable to adapt to the living environment was 1 each.Except that the healthy dogs showed a high antibody level after being vaccinated against canine distemper,other experimental groups showed a lower antibody level,and the risk of infection with CDV was also higher.In experiment 2,the cure rate of dogs infected with canine distemper after vaccination was 65 %,while that of dogs without vaccination was 25 %.The cure rate of the former was obviously higher than that of the latter,and p < 0.01.In experiment 3,the dogs suffered from myocardial fiber breakage,interstitial edema,capillary dilatation and congestion after being infected with canine distemper.Congestion occurs in the lungs and congestion occurs.The pulmonary congestion and bleeding occurred in the alveolar wall near the bronchi.the number of cells also increased significantly,showing interstitial pneumonia.In experiment 4,all dogs with canine distemper who did not take any treatment measures died with a cure rate of 0.One case of canine distemper treated with biological agents was cured with a cure rate of 25 %.Two dogs with canine distemper treated with symptomatic and adjuvant therapy and Chinese veterinary therapy were cured with a cure rate of 50 %.Of the dogs with canine distemper treated by the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine,3 cases were cured with a cure rate of 75 %.Conclusion: the main location of canine distemper is in the lung.the heart,liver and kidney of the sick dog have granular degeneration,inflammatory cell infiltration,congestion,bleeding and other symptoms.The spleen and lymph nodes all have immune suppression phenomena such as smaller lymphoid nodules and fewer lymphocytes.under normal conditions,canine distemper is difficult to cure naturally.The experiment shows that vaccination of canine distemper vaccine has obvious effect on prevention and treatment of canine distemper disease in the later stage,and vaccination of canine distemper vaccine should be carried out in the healthy state of dogs after weaning.On the opposite side of treatment,the treatment of canine distemper with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has better curative effect than the conventional treatment method.
