Investigation And Analysis On The Development Of Sheep Industry In Huan County

Since 2013,Huanxian Sheep Industry has seized the policy opportunities of the state,province and city to support the development of animal husbandry on its own basis,and has made the development of the sheep industry the primary industry for Huan County to fight poverty and make farmers rich.This article takes Huanxian sheep breeding scale,breeding methods,feed supply,and disease prevention and control as the research objects.Through literature review and field investigation of156 enterprises,professional sheep-raising cooperatives and free-range households in11 townships,the results of 2013-2018 Related data and comparative analysis show that the current breeding scale of Huanxian sheep industry has increased from 1.043 million in 2013 to 1.442 million in 2018,an increase of 38.23%,and the price of has also increased from 50.47 yuan/kg in 2013 to 58.13 at the end of 2018.Yuan/kg,97%of the farmers in the county adopt pens for rearing,and traditional grazing has gradually withdrawn,showing a good development trend.However,there are still many problems and shortcomings,which are mainly manifested in the problems of poor feeding management,strong policy dependence,and incomplete forage supply.Among the 143 scattered-raising households surveyed,as many as 63 farmers clean up their pens.In 6 months,the barn’s hygiene was extremely poor;among the 17048 sheep investigated,11,529 were Hu sheep,all of which were raised by 331+cooperatives,and no individual households were raised.According to statistics,Huanxian’s 2018 silage forage,The stock of hay is 500,000 tons,most of which are corn stalks and alfalfa.The stock is small and the species is single,which is far from meeting the current requirements for raising sheep.In view of the existing problems and deficiencies,corresponding development countermeasures are proposed.One is to improve the level of breeding and management,and different breeds are reared inseparate pens to ensure clean and ventilated pens;the other is to guide free-range farmers to consciously and efficiently breed and give full play to the demonstration and leading role Actively promote successful typical cases of self-raising households,organize farmer households to conduct on-site visits,analyze the benefits of raising sheep,and boost sheep raising confidence;the third is to build diversified high-quality forage planting bases,through orders,land transfer,cooperative cooperation and other forms of construction Diversified pasture planting base.Continue to expand planting types and planting areas on the basis of existing forage grass planting varieties and areas,such as alfalfa,oats,sweet sorghum,silage corn,high-quality cereal grass,high-quality tubers,etc.,to ensure the county’s market supply demand.
