Pepper is widely cultivated in China.It is a vegetable crop of Solanaceae which people like to eat,and it is also one of the advantageous industries for exporting.In order to investigate and enrich the genetic diversity and genetic relationship of pepper germplasm resources in China,DNA molecular markers widely used for genetic diversity of various crops due to their low cost,simple operation,high polymorphism and stable repeatability.With the development of new agricultural industrial structure,the yield and nutrition of pepper fruit becomeing the decisive factors for evaluating the quality of pepper.Therefore,exploring and comprehending the genetic diversity,production performance,nutritional value of pepper varieties are of great significance in the development of pepper industry.In this study,DNA genetic diversity analysis of 42 pepper inbred lines was carried out,and the genetic relationship was identified by SSR molecular markers.The main yield and quality traits of 25 pepper hybrid combinations were compared.The results are as follows:1.DNA genetic diversity analysisIn this study,the genetic diversity of 42 pepper inbred lines was analyzed.The results showed that 60 pairs of primers and 42 peppers inbred lines amplified 2306 stable and clearly visible polymorphic bands,with an average of each pair of primers.Amplified 1.57 bands,the polymorphism rate reached 94.95%.There is a certain heterogeneity and rich genetic difference between the materials,and the genetic variability is large.The clustering results showed that,When 42 clusters of pepper germplasm materials have a clustering coefficient of 20,the copolymerization is 5 categories.for example,40,41,36,24,31,32,25,10,11,14,16,18,23,1,9,27,17 and 33 were grouped into the first category;3,38,42,37,39,15 and 28 were clustered into the second category;6 and 7 were clustered into the third category.The fourth category includes:30,35,34,29,5,12,8,13,20,21 and 4;the rest were grouped into the fifth category.The results indicated that most of the pepper materials clustered into one kind were germplasm materials with similar sources or regions,and the genetic relationship was very close.Otherwise,the germplasm materials with distant sources or different regions have larger genetic coefficients and genetic distance.and the kinship is far away.2.Comparison of 25 pepper hybrid combinations in yield traitsThe comparative analysis of the yield characteristics in 25 hybrid combinations was carried out.The results.showed that there was a positive correlation between yield per plant and total yield per unit area.The combination of output value above 7000 g/m2 was:C8 reached 10890.81 g/m2.the following combination is C13,C7,C24,C16,C5,C9 and C2,respectively.Among the fruit traits,the number of frnits per plant,fruit length,fruit width,fruit thickness and single fruit weight were significantly different,even with extremely significant differences.Most of the traits were higher or more significant than the control C15.Higher than the control,indicating that the field is growing well and can be used for the validation of new varieties.Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between yield per plant and number of plants per plant,and no significant correlation with fruit length,fruit width,fruit thickness,and single fruit weight.3.Comparison of main quality traits in 25 pepper hybrid combinationsIn the pepper combination,the Vc content of C1~4 combination was 481.94,479.68,472.43 and 469.11 mg/100g,respectively;the remaining combinations were basically maintained between 93~259 mg/100g.The content of soluble sugar have no significant change;The content of C2 was the highest,reaching 37.78%,and the three combinations of C2,C5 and C21 were significantly higher than the control C15.The soluble protein content ranged from 3.05 to 6.94 mg/g,The contents of C10 and C14 were similar,6.94 mg/g and 6.88 mg/g,respectively.In the comparison of the degree of spiciness,C10 reached 4737.68 SHU,which exceeded the number of Scoville in Yanhong and the level of spicy was five.In the comparison of color price,the C20 color price was the highest,reaching 441.55 mg/kg,followed by C8 and C18 were 423.35 and 398.03 mg/kg,other combitations were relatively low.4.Comprehensive Analysis of Yield and Quality of Different Pepper Hybrid Combinations.The comprehensive scores aiming at the nutritional quality of fresh food were analyzed by a membership degree,which gave different weights.The comprehensive score showed that the combination of C2,C5 and C8 had higher yield and excellent quality,could be used for the cultivation of fresh pepper or sweet pepper varieties.With a comprehensive score targeting the spicy flavor,the C10 score was 0.67,which was 47%higher than the average composite score,and the hotness rating was also the highest,followed by C8 of 0.59.The comprehensive score for the extraction of pigments,the C8 comprehensive score of up to 0.97,due to the high yield and pigment content;followed by C7,C13 and C18,the comprehensive score was 0.64,which higher than the other hybrid combinations.Therefore,these excellent hybrid combinations screened by comprehensive scores can be used for the cultivation of specialized varieties. |
