| While China’s urbanization has achieved rapid development,unreasonable planning and construction and the contradiction between people’s needs and the public services provided by the city have led to more urban problems,and various natural and social problems have impacted and disturbed the Urban living environment.What is the ability of different urban settlements to respond to shocks? How is recovery? How to improve the threshold of urban living environment to withstand shocks and other issues,introduce the principle of resilience into the living environment,and preliminarily define the concept of urban living environment resilience.The eastern coastal cities are the main population settlements.This article takes the coastal cities in the Bohai Rim region as the research object,and based on the urban panel data from 2010 to 2019,constructs the urban living environment resilience evaluation index from the three dimensions of adaptability,defense and resilience.Comprehensive use of entropy method,GIS spatial visualization technology and correlation analysis method to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution of the resilience level of human settlements,and to explore its influencing factors.Provide reference for realizing a healthy and sustainable urban living environment and improving the resilience of the living environment.The main conclusions are as follows:（1）From the perspective of chronological evolution.From 2010 to 2019,there were significant rank changes in the resilience level of coastal cities in the Bohai Rim and the levels of various dimensions.According to their rank change characteristics,17 coastal cities can be divided into 6 types: stable type,overall rising type,overall descending type,crest-changing type,wave-trough-changing type,and crest-trough combination type.The overall resilience level of human settlements shows a trend of alternating peaks and troughs.The average resilience index is: Tianjin > Shandong > Hebei > Liaoning.The overall adaptability of human settlements showed a downward trend,and the average adaptability index was: Shandong > Hebei > Tianjin > Liaoning.The defense of human settlements shows a trend of peaks and troughs,and the average defense index is: Tianjin > Shandong > Hebei >Liaoning.The overall resilience of human settlements presents a rising trend,and the average resilience index is: Tianjin > Shandong > Hebei > Liaoning.（2）From the perspective of space evolution.The urban living environment in the central and southern regions has a relatively high level of resilience,while the urban living environment in the northern region has a relatively low level of resilience,with relatively stable changes in the level of resilience.The level of adaptability of human settlements shows a downward trend,among which Tianjin,Rizhao,Qingdao,and Dalian have dropped significantly.The level of defense fluctuates and changes slightly,with the least number of cities with low and high levels and the largest number of cities with medium levels.The level of resilience of human settlements is on the rise,with Dalian,Tianjin,and Qingdao as the core areas.The level of resilience of human settlements is relatively high.（3）In terms of influencing factors.The indicators that passed the significance test mainly showed a strong correlation with the resilience of human settlements.The indicators that have passed the significance test three times or more are: temperature and humidity index in the dimension of human settlements adaptability;per capita urban road area in the dimension of human settlements defense,density of drainage pipes in built-up areas,and construction expenditures for municipal public facilities The proportion of fiscal expenditure,the number of college students per 10,000 people;the per capita GDP,the average wage of employees,the per capita disposable income of urban residents,and the per capita retail sales of social consumer goods in the dimension layer of the resilience of human settlements. |
