At present, there are more than 5 million villages and more than 50,000 market towns in China, and a large number of people live in the villages and towns.Due to various reasons such as policy and economics, the research and related norms of civil housing in villages and towns have not attracted enough attention. In order to further improve the relevant regulations for civil housing in villages and towns, and to help architects design buildings that are more environmentally friendly and low-carbon in line with the living needs of occupants,we need to deepen the thermal adaptation behavior of occupants in indoor spaces in villages and towns.and understanding of living habits. The Lingnan region is located in the southernmost part of China. The Tropic of Cancer traverses the central part of Lingnan. It belongs to the southern part of the East Asian monsoon climate zone and has the characteristics of tropical and subtropical monsoon oceanic climates. The climate in the Lingnan region determines that the architectural characteristics of the Lingnan region are different from other regions. In order to adapt to the climate, residents also form thermal behaviors with regional characteristics. However, there are few existing studies on the thermal adaptation behavior of residents in villages and towns in the Lingnan area. Therefore, this paper selects Chashan Village,Tanbu Town,Huadu District,Guangzhou City,Guangdong Province as the research area, and conducts architectural environment and The survey on thermal comfort and thermal adaptation behavior of residents mainly includes the following contents:(1)Questionnaires were conducted on residents of villages and towns in the Lingnan area to obtain the distribution characteristics of basic information such as residents’ age and gender. The data of residents’ thermal adaptation behaviors in the questionnaire survey were sorted out and analyzed,so as to obtain the usage frequency, influencing factors and the proportion of main purposes of residents’ various thermal adaptation behaviors, and analyzed the thermal adaptation behaviors of residents in villages and towns in Lingnan area.causes of habit formation.(2)According to the data of the field test, analyze the overall distribution characteristics of the thermal environment of the villagers and towns in the Lingnan area in different seasons and the characteristics of time-to-hour changes.(3)To analyze the distribution characteristics of thermal sensation voting of villagers and towns in different seasons and time points in Lingnan area, and to analyze the correlation between residents’ thermal sensation and gender, age, thermal comfort and skin temperature.(4)To analyze the thermal adaptation behavior model of residents in Lingnan area. The thermal adaptation behavior and the distribution characteristics of clothing thermal resistance value of the villagers and towns in Lingnan area in different seasons were investigated, and the correlation analysis between the thermal adaptation behavior and the indoor thermal environment and the residents’ subjective thermal sensation was carried out,so as to analyze the influencing factors of the thermal adaptation behavior. Finally, the correlation between residents’ individualized physiological differences and thermal adaptation behaviors was analyzed.(5)According to the correlation between thermal adaptation behavior and its influencing factors,a logistic regression model of multiple variables was used to construct a prediction model of thermal adaptation behavior of residents in villages and towns in Lingnan area.In addition, this paper also conducts the construction of the neutral temperature prediction model and the applicability analysis of the existing thermal adaptation model in the villages and towns in the Lingnan area.
