With the acceleration of urbanization,the construction of cities and buildings has alienated human beings from nature.High-rise office buildings are one of the types of buildings that people use more frequently.The development of society has continuously increased the pressure on staff,which in turn affects their psychological and physical health.Biophilic design is an approach to designing lives and workplaces that not only addresses the fundamental need for workers to connect with nature but also improve their health,and architects need to think about the above issues from the perspective of biophilic design.The first chapter interprets the research background,the requirements for the development of healthy buildings at the national level,and introduces the current health problems from the user’s point of view,and then analyzes the design trends of office buildings,and concludes that "promoting health" is an important design trends.It is clarified that the research object is a high-rise office building designed from a health promotion perspective.Collect,analyze and summarize a large number of related literatures at home and abroad,so as to complete the classification and introduction of domestic and foreign research status.The second chapter introduces biophilic design and related theories,including attention recovery theory and stress reduction theory.Then,the principles and application benefits of biophilic design were introduced.According to the principles of biophilic design and Browning’s 14 biophilic design models,three office building cases at home and abroad were analyzed.Common practices in architecture that guide the design strategies that follow.The third chapter,conducts field research on 10 typical high-rise office buildings in Jinan,finds out the existing problems and makes a classification analysis.Through the questionnaire,the actual needs of the staff were investigated.Through the cross-analysis of the current situation and the needs of the staff,it is found that the staff has a demand for biophilic high-rise office buildings,and at the same time,the biophilic high-rise office buildings have a promotion effect on the health of the staff,so the biophilic design of high-rise office buildings is very necessary.Chapter Four,part of biophilic design strategies for high-rise office buildings in cold regions.First,the principles of biophilic design and the closely related parts of high-rise office buildings are integrated,and the principles of multi-sensory experience,diverse interaction and multi-situation presentation are proposed.And from the three levels of external shape,standard floor plan,and interior space,it proposes a design strategy for building exterior shape close to nature,a graphic design strategy for interacting with natural diversity,an interior space design strategy for creating a sense of belonging,and guidelines for high-rise office buildings.The design strategy forms a biophilic design framework for high-rise office buildings and provides guidance for the design of the scheme below.The fifth chapter,the biophilic design of a high-rise office building in Jinan CBD is carried out and the validity of the biophilic design is verified by virtual reality(VR)experiments.The biophilic design is carried out from four aspects.First,use the overall layout that echoes the natural environment.Second,the architectural form design is close to nature.Third,the standard floor plan is a plane design that simulates natural forms.Finally,the interior with a sense of belonging interior design.By VR experiments,subjects experience the virtual environment before and after the biophilic design,and verify the effectiveness of the biophilic design of high-rise office buildings according to the experience.The subjects ranked the importance of each biophilic design element by evaluating the biophilic design elements of high-rise office buildings.Chapter 6 summarizes the research conclusions and research limitations,and gives an outlook on the biophilic design of high-rise office buildings.It is hoped that the research in this thesis can provide new ideas for the design of high-rise office buildings in the future.
