Research About The Regional Characteristics Of Residential Building Design Under The Background Of Jiangnan Culture

In the 20 th century,with the high-speed development of economy,China has entered the rapid urbanization development stage,and urban residential construction also developed rapidly.However,in the era of globalization,many cities ignored the protection of traditional architectural culture,copying the architectural design and urban planning from western architects blindly,which regardless the local tradition and regional characters.All of these finally make the buildings and cities all over the world alike,losing identifiability and individuality.Thus,our urban construction and architectural style become more and more mediocre.And housing design also presents increasing “the Euro-Continent style”,which essentially reflects the fierce collision between globalization and regional culture.It also reveals our lack of confidence in local architectural culture.Chinese housing design eagerly need revival and return to the local culture.Against the backdrop of globalization,a lot of cities had not protected traditional architectural culture,they pay no attention to local cultural tradition and region characterist.They had copied western architect's experience of urban planning and architectural design mechanically.Itlead to global architecture and urban construction becomming increasingly similar.There are no Identification and personality among these cities.Our urban construction and architectural style become more and more mediocre.There is "the Euro-Continent style" phenomenon in the present architectural field of our country.This is essentially a reflection of globalization and regional culture fiercecollision.We also lack of confidence in the local architectural culture.Regional building culture in china must be returned and renaissanced.The research object of this article for Jiangnan traditional houses and modern city residential both residential building form,select the Jiangnan region economy is relatively developed cities like Hangzhou,Shanghai,Suzhou,with a low density residential(villa,the terrace homes),multi-storey residential and residential building as the research scope.From the Angle of cultural jiangnan traditional local-style dwelling houses and the longitudinal comparison on the modern city residential design case,and will be in Shanghai,Hangzhou,Suzhou and other places of the actual survey of some of the use of traditional elements to carry on the design of residential projects are compared,and the horizontal to find similarities and differences among its essence and phenomenon,from the perspective of the architectural form and architectural space,summarizes the case for regional thinking,for the interpretation of the traditional culture of Jiangnan,and the specific design methods and principles,in order to come to the conclusion that is beneficial to guide practice.
