The construction industry plays an integral role as a key industry in China’s socio-economic development.The quality development is the main theme of today’s world.19 th CPC Central Committee’s Sixth Plenary Session proposed that high-quality development must be achieved.High-quality development is to improve the economic construction and development,and it is the development that embodies the five development concepts.Based on this,the implication of the high-quality development of the construction industry is built from macro and micro perspectives.With the five major concepts as the starting,the macroscopic approach with a focus upon the quality of products and services in the construction industry and the microscopic approach with the connotation of high quality development combined with the context of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta,adds to the high quality growth of the construction sector in Anhui.Firstly,through domestic and overseas research and related theories,an appraisal index scheme was constructed.Based on the results of indicator screening,an indicator system for the high-quality development of the construction industry consisting of seven standard levels and 36 specific indicators has finally been established.Secondly,to understand the quality of Anhui Province’s growth in the Yangtze River Delta region and in one city,the global entropy weighting-TOPSIS method was used to understand the status of the construction industry’s quality growth in Anhui Province and to calculate index weights.Cross-sectional and longitudinal comparison of high-quality developments in the construction sector in Anhui Province and three provinces and one city from 2010 to 2019 were conducted.The findings show that Anhui’s construction industry trails below the Yangtze Delta in terms of quality development,but it is performing well in terms of livelihood and green development.The industrial benefit and technical level have declined slightly in recent two years,but its development scale is expanding year by year.Although the market composition is lower than that of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,the changing trend has always maintained an increasing trend.Finally,according to the existing evaluation results,Establish SD model with Vensim software,and predict the high-quality development future of Anhui construction industry.51 functional relationships were included in the model.The tests of the validity of the model revealed that the error rate between the tested and displayed values was within ±10%.The simulated value and the actual value fit well and the model has a higher credibility.After validity testing,the model produced modelling outcomes for the high-quality growth of the construction industry in Anhui from 2010-2030.The modelling results show that the high quality of the construction industry in Anhui Province is improving.Finally,recommendations are made for the high-quality development of the construction industry in Anhui Province based on the results of the above analysis,providing some information to support the relevant authorities in formulating policies and norms for the high-quality development of the industry in the context of the regional cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta.Figure [26] table [9] reference [60]...
