The vigorous development of digital economy intensifies the changes of internal and external environment in all walks of life.In order to better cope with all kinds of unexpected situations in enterprises in the post-epidemic era and to better deal with the "contact" problems in enterprises,Chinese enterprises are undergoing digital transformation and upgrading in line with the development of the times.At the same time,enterprises themselves expect that digital transformation can bring about the improvement of economic benefits and operating efficiency.Existing research generally focuses on specific aspects of digital transformation,and few dynamic perspectives discuss the fundamental impact of digital transformation on the capabilities of enterprises.This paper studies the enterprises in digital transformation from the perspective of dynamic capability,so as to help enterprises explore the implementation path of digital transformation,enhance the efficiency of resource allocation and help enterprises achieve higher performance in the process of digital transformation.Taking Haier Group and Midea Group as research samples,this paper discusses the interaction mechanism between digital transformation and dynamic capabilities of enterprises and the impact on enterprise performance through cross-case studies and empirical research.Based on the previous research on the relationship and influence mechanism of digital transformation,dynamic capability and enterprise performance,this paper divides the dimensions of enterprise dynamic capability into four dimensions:environmental perception capability,resource integration capability,knowledge learning capability and management and operation capability.By studying the interaction between different cases in the dimensions of digital transformation and dynamic capability,as well as the changes of financial performance,innovation performance and organizational performance of enterprises before and after digital transformation,this paper draws a conclusion by comparing and refining the similarities and differences between cases.The results show that:(1)Digital transformation will not only directly improve enterprise performance,but also indirectly improve enterprise performance through dynamic capabilities;(2)Digital transformation has a very obvious positive impact on enterprise performance,and dynamic capability plays a part of intermediary role in the process of digital transformation to improve enterprise performance;(3)At different stages in the process of digital transformation of enterprises,the dynamic capability is continuously improved,and the improvement of dynamic capability will help enterprises to match specific paths and measures more suitable for digital transformation of enterprises;(4)In different periods and stages of enterprise digital transformation,it is dominated by dynamic capabilities of enterprises with different dimensions.The above research enriches the existing research on digital transformation,with a view to providing theoretical reference for the practice of digital transformation of traditional industrial enterprises in China,and achieving better enterprise performance by using dynamic capabilities in the dynamic environment.
