Since the 13 th five year plan,China’s economic development model has stepped from the stage of high-speed growth to the stage of high-quality growth.China has promulgated a series of combination policies to accelerate the reconstruction of the value chain of the logistics industry.The great changes in policy and market are undoubtedly an opportunity and challenge for logistics enterprises.Under the background that the operation cost of logistics industry changes from rapid decline period to stable period,how to improve the operation efficiency of enterprises and optimize the performance output of organizations and employees is particularly important for today’s logistics industry.FAW Logistics Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as FAW logistics),founded in2006,is a large-scale automobile logistics company in China.As a subsidiary of FAW Group,facing the business tasks assigned by FAW Group and the fierce market competition environment,it is more necessary to promote the improvement of the company’s organizational and personal performance through scientific performance management system and effective performance management measures,To achieve or exceed the expected business objectives is the focus of the company’s management at this stage.Through the study and research of relevant domestic theories,this paper systematically shows the current research results and combs the management process.Through questionnaires and other methods to understand the current situation of performance management of FAW logistics company,and systematically analyze the problems and causes;The performance management of FAW logistics company is systematically optimized and upgraded through target management method,key index method and other methods.Through the research,it is found that FAW logistics is a large state-owned enterprise with more than 10000 employees,including 1170 management employees,distributed in the manager sequence,expert sequence and professional sequence.According to the management requirements of FAW Group,performance management is divided into unit performance management and employee performance management,and its main coverage group is management employees.In the actual management,there are still major problems in the performance management of employees in FAW logistics management post.For example,the company’s overall strategic decomposition is not in place,resulting in employees’ incomplete understanding of the company’s strategic objectives and deviation in work execution;Performance indicators cannot reflect the value of departments or posts.Through the further analysis of the problem,the main reasons of attention,management planning,execution and result conviction are obtained,and targeted optimization is carried out.In view of the performance management problems existing in the management post employees of FAW logistics company,this paper optimizes them from two aspects: in terms of performance index system: according to the category of FAW logistics management post,the employees are divided into eight fields: business field,procurement field,audit risk control field,human resources field,financial field,digital field,engineering and logistics field and strategic management field,Starting from the strategic undertaking and field positioning of the company in various fields,the performance index library is systematically designed to provide index basis for the performance management of employees in various fields of FAW logistics and strengthen the strategic orientation;In the aspect of performance management process system: the system is optimized from the aspects of performance plan formulation,performance appraisal process,performance grading rules,performance appraisal cycle,performance result application and so on.Through the optimization of the performance management system of the staff of FAW logistics management post,it is hoped that it can play a positive role in promoting the overall business results of FAW logistics company and the improvement of staff work efficiency.At the same time,it is hoped that it can also play a certain reference role in the performance management of relevant enterprises in other logistics industries.
