With the increasingly severe energy crisis and abnormal climate problems,countries are paying more and more attention to energy conservation and emission reduction,the new energy vehicle(NEV)industry is rising day by day,the manufacturers are emerging,and traditional car companies are transforming one after another.Transformation of environmental protection and energy saving in my country’s traditional automobile industry is imperative.Although China’s NEV industry started late,it is developing rapidly.With the support and encouragement of national policies,auto companies have devoted themselves to R&D and innovation.In the past six years,the production,sales,growth rate and market share have ranked first in the world.However,NEV industry has the problem of being big but not strong.There is a lack of world-class car companies similar to Tesla.With the proposal of "carbon neutrality",European traditional car companies have also joined the new energy track.The market has become a battleground for rivals.Governments of various countries have successively issued relevant policies to promote the development of NEV.In 2020,the world’s largest new energy market has also been transferred from China to Europe,and the global auto industry is facing a new round of "shuffling." What is the international competitiveness of China’s NEV today,what advantages do we have compared with developed countries,and how to succeed in an increasingly competitive market in the future are issues worth discussing at present.Based on the theory of comparative advantage,we use the principal component analysis method to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the international competitiveness of China’s NEV industry.Firstly,we tell readers about the development of the global new energy vehicle market.Secondly,analyzing in detail the necessity,development history and development status of the industry.Then We compare the new energy vehicle markets of China,the United States,Germany and Japan,and discuss their differences in industrial scale,trade advantages,relevant policies and infrastructure.In order to obtain more scientific and rigorous comparison results,we quantitatively analyze the international competitiveness of NEV industry of four countries.Based on Pei Changhong’s theory of revealing indexes and analytic indexes,we selected 24 relevant indexes and used them to construct a corresponding evaluation index system.At the same time,we collected micro-data of typical car companies of the four countries to support the conclusion.Finally,we put forward some countermeasures from three perspectives of government,industry and enterprise according to the conclusion. |
