With the acceleration of global aging,the market demand for medical devices is increasing,and the medical device industry has become the focus of attention of various countries.At the same time,my country’s medical device industry is also rising rapidly and has broad prospects for development.However,compared with the huge market demand,my country’s medical device manufacturers lack sufficient competitiveness,and the medical device industry is still facing many challenges.The high-end medical device market is occupied by a large number of foreign medical device companies,who not only have industry-leading technologies,but also have a large number of invention patents,while domestic medical device companies are mainly concentrated in the middle and low-end markets,with low product technology content and lack of core Competitiveness.Under such circumstances,how should my country’s medical device manufacturers seize opportunities in the increasingly fierce industry competition,formulate development strategies to adapt to the market environment and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises,so as to meet threats and challenges.This article takes XY medical device company as an example,according to the specific situation of XY company’s production and operation,combined with the current development status of the domestic medical device market,through the application of strategic management scientific theory and methods,to make a specific analysis of the company’s internal and external environment.First,using the PEST analysis method,the five forces model analysis method and the construction of an external factor evaluation matrix,through the analysis of the external environment such as politics,law,economy and society,it shows that the current medical device industry has ushered in a good opportunity for rapid development,and also analyzed the medical device industry.Industry development potential crisis.Then,by analyzing the company’s internal resources,company strategic capabilities,core competitiveness and constructing an internal factor evaluation matrix,the development advantages of the company are clarified,and the problems that the company needs to face and solve are also clarified.Finally,by constructing the SPACE matrix to determine the strategic combination that the enterprise should adopt,it provides an important basis for the company to formulate a scientific and effective development strategy,clarify the strategic positioning and goals,propose specific measures for the implementation of the strategy,and propose a series of guarantees for the implementation of the strategy.It is suggested that measures such as improving the organizational structure,expanding talent channels,strengthening brand building,and improving R&D and innovation capabilities will provide the guarantee for the implementation of the strategy and help enterprises achieve their strategic goals.The research purpose of this thesis is to formulate and implement a strategy in line with the company’s own development through a specific analysis of the current situation of XY company’s operation and external environment,to improve the company’s core competitiveness and sustainable development ability as a whole,and to ensure that XY company is in the industry.To achieve the company’s overall development goals,to ensure the company’s sustainable development and growth in the future,and also to provide reference for other medical device companies to formulate scientific and feasible development strategies,and to plan and build their lasting core competitiveness.
