Research On Restorative Pocket Park Landscape Design

Pocket parks are a sort of various important restoration resources.Therefore,knowledge of restorative pocket park designing is important for extending the theory of restorative environment.This research aims to solve problems in current design of pocket parks using the theory of restorative environment.Considering that city circumstances cannot keep up with the demands of the residents,the relevance of pocket parks and restorative environment is established.In the cross-cultural dimension and time dimension,the author compares the practice of restorative space and concludes the factors that influence the concrete form of restorative landscape.By selecting the deterministic factors that influence the form of the restorative landscape and combining the formation mode of the restorative space,the generating mechanism of the restorative landscape in pocket park is obtained.According to the generation mechanism of restorative pocket park landscape and the relationship between environment and human,the landscape system of restorative pocket park is constructed.The research adopts the methods of comparative analysis,system theory and evidence-based practice.The research shows that the contradiction between variable diversity and idealized design can be solved by changing the design idea from goaloriented to process-oriented in the landscape design of the recuperative pocket park.Finally,three restorative pocket park landscape subsystems are constructed,which constitute the restorative landscape system of the pocket parks.
