The Stydy On The Design Strategy Of Modern Pavilions And Galleries

With the accelerating process of urbanization and the improvement of people’s material living standards,modern pavilions and galleries are becoming more and more common in people’s urban life,and the public’s aesthetic appreciation for pavilions and galleries is gradually improving.In recent years,architects have begun to cross disciplinary boundaries,and participate in the design practice of modern pavilions and galleries more actively.However,in the past,the theoretical discussion of modern pavilions and galleries has always been a marginal topic in architecture,and has not been paid attention to by the architectural theory circle.Up to now,there is no very clear concept to define "pavilions and galleries",and there is a lack of systematic research.Firstly,based on the previous studies,this thesis expounds and discusses the historical development,cultural connotation,constituent elements and functional application of pavilions and galleries,discriminates and analyzes the clear definition of pavilions and galleries,and combs out a clear framework for the systematic research of modern pavilions and galleries.Secondly,by sorting out some cases of modern pavilions and galleries,this thesis summarizes the common design strategies in pavilions and galleries.The division of these strategies is based on the starting point of design,which is respectively based on five important leading factors:architectural form,cultural intention,parametric design,material connotation and artistic concept.Thirdly,based on the discussion of design strategy,this thesis further discusses the structural research of modern pavilions and galleries,summarizes the common structures in the practice of modern pavilions and galleries from the perspective of structural types,and discusses the strategy of structural innovation combined with specific cases.Finally,this thesis combines theory with practice,based on the previous research content and analysis method,taking the practical project experienced by the author as an example,respectively from the design strategy,site response,structural strategy and other aspects of the analysis,which focuses on the structural innovation in the scheme.From a more practical level,this thesis verifies the feasibility of the design strategy of modern pavilions and galleries,in order to provide a reference value for the future research of the same type.There are 61 thousand words and 140 diagrams in the thesis.
