View To Cultural Complex In China From Two Architectual Practice Of "Multi-Pavilions In One"

According to the special developing stage of Chinese cultural industry and environment of architectural practice, this paper tries to study the public cultural architecture type of "Multi-Pavilions in One".Chapter one,summarizes the development of public cultural architecture,and compared the type of "Multi-Pavilions in One"with normal cultural complex,in order to define preliminary charactor and concept of the target of the research from social level.Chapter two,analysis the related design codes and typology of"single Pavilion",and the relationship of each pavilion. It is discussed from general charactors,devision of each design stage,and limitation of design codes about architectural character and related design activities of "Multi-Pavilions in One"buildings.Chapter three,two practicing projects of this type that the author have ever designed are analysed,from city factor,definition of the project ,relationship and location of pavilions,shared public space between pavilions, according to external social condition and internal space elements,to understand two types of "Multi-Pavilions in One"buildings.Finally, considering the special property of the target, chapter four goes through several projects of related foreign cultural complex.Compliance with the comparative system all aboved,the last section provided some design strategies based on the principle of intensive sharing public space,and some suggestion to China's "Multi-Pavilions in One".
