The Study Of The Architectural Time Dimension Under Digital Image Logic

The time dimension of architecture is an important component of space perception.There is a natural inner relationship with time,space and the perceiver.Digital image technology expands the limitation of time perception and provides the possibility of time dimension expression in the rational and logical operation process of architecture design.This dissertation analyzes the temporality of images and architecture,summarizes the expression of architectural time dimension under traditional image logic,and refines the characteristics of time dimension application in scene organization of digital image.In the way of discussing the time dimension expression elements and organization of architectural space based on digital image logic,explore the design method of enriching the architectural space perception experience with the time dimension as a clue.This dissertation focuses on the characteristics and methods of architectural time dimension expression under the digital image logic,and discusses its application in architectural design based on the analysis of specific case and design object.The research is divided into the four stages: First,starting from the temporality of images and architecture,it studies the connotation of the architectural time dimension and the translation of traditional images and architectural time dimension.Secondly,it explores the narrative method and scene construction of digital image with the clue of time dimension,and summarizes the expression characteristics of time and space.Third,it summarizes the expression method of the architectural time dimension combined with case analysis,from the perspective of perception object and subject respectively.Finally,as the renovation of the comprehensive activity center of Southeast University is selected as the specific design object,it summarizes the connotation of the architectural time dimension by investigating the temporal characteristics of the reconstructed building and space using.The design of the comprehensive activity center under the digital image logic is carried out from two perspectives,the construction of narrative structure and scene space,so as to discuss the application of the architectural time dimension expression in the design process under the digital image logic.The dissertation is divided into six chapters: The first chapter includes introduction,analysis of related concepts and research status at home and abroad.The second chapter is the elaboration of related theoretical foundations,including the temporality of images and architecture,as well as the expression of architectural time dimensions under traditional image logic.The third chapter summarizes the digital image narrative methods and the representation of scene construction.The fourth chapter discusses the expression of the architectural time dimension under the digital image logic,combining specific cases to illustrate the representation of architectural time in spatial narrative and perception.The spatial narrative method includes narrative structures and the movement state of the subject;The characteristics of scene construction include the expansion of perception objects and the enrichment of perception modes.The fifth chapter analyzes the time connotation of the design object,proposes the corresponding design strategy and introduces the design process on the basis of the previous research.The sixth chapter is a summary and outlook,pointing out the deficiencies of the current research and looking forward to the future.
