Research On Design Expression Of Large Span Original Bamboo Structurein Architectural Creation

Bamboo has the characteristics of rich resources,short growth cycle,green ecology,low price and high quality,which has broad application prospects in the context of sustainable development.China is rich in bamboo resources with a wide variety.It has a long history of bamboo cultivation and utilization,and has been known as "bamboo kingdom" since ancient times.The original bamboo architecture has a long history of development,which is unique in the long-term accumulation of social production and people’s traditional life.The good mechanical properties of bamboo make it not limited to the traditional bamboo structure.Through reasonable treatment and design,it can create a large-span non sheltered space,and to a certain extent meet the needs of people for large space.Under this background,this paper explores the possibility of the application of large-span original bamboo structure in architecture,breaks through the traditional construction and design methods,so as to broaden the vision of original bamboo architecture design expression under the background of the new era,and promote the sustainable development of original bamboo architecture.This paper starts with the literature review of bamboo architecture and long-span structure,and finds that there are few theoretical studies on the spatial characteristics and ecological design of bamboo structure in the current research of bamboo structure.After combing the literature related to long-span structure,this paper uses the research methods of structural spatial characteristics and green sustainable structural form in the research of longspan structure for reference,and makes some suggestions on the current research of bamboo structure The research field of vision is expanded,and the related design theory is summarized.Then,combined with the current frontier case of large-span bamboo architecture,it summarizes its advantages,disadvantages and development trend.Then,the basic research on the influencing factors,space elements,material characteristics,structure selection,detail structure and other aspects of the original bamboo building design is carried out.Combined with the relevant design theory,the integration of the long-span bamboo structure and the building space is studied,including the fit between the structure and the functional space,the limitation and separation of the structure to the space field,the integration of the structure and the building space Secondly,it studies the expression of structure in architecture from three dimensions of material,technology and spirit,and demonstrates it by combining with field investigation examples and the author’s project practice.Finally,it summarizes several design strategies with universality in the design of long-span original bamboo architecture.
