Research On The Renewal Of University Campus Edge Space Based On The Healing Garden

Under the policy background of actively promoting "Healthy China 2030 Planning Outline",the concept of healthy city has gradually become popular,and health-oriented planning and design method has become a research hotspot in the process of urban development and renewal.Healthy urban organism needs to rely on healthy urban space unit as support.Among them,as the space unit of the city,universities play an important role in cultural output,and the healthy and beautiful image with high density and low plot ratio is particularly important in healthy urban organism.With universities’ social service become diversified,the functions of universities begin to have more contact with urban life.The university campus is no longer belongs to the privilege space of specific groups,and began to realize its value as a public resource in society.However,due to the influence of social ideology and traditional design concepts,most of the domestic universities have formed a closed edge mode.Under the trend of increasingly close relationship between campus and city,a series of problems such as: 1.The rigid definition mode of the edge leads to the imbalance of the development of the heterogeneous space defined by the edge;2.The quality of the edge space needs to be improved to break the first impression of the cold edge;3.The single type of the edge space and the lack of hierarchy of the edge as a whole;4 The edge development lacks elasticity,and the edge is out of touch with the development of adjacent space.5.The edge management mode is rigid,which is not conducive to the formation of healthy communication mode for people inside and outside the school.Therefore,the existing problems of the edge of university campus not only break the healthy and beautiful campus image,but also hinder the integration process of the campus and the city.The renewal of the campus edge space is imminent.The existing problems of campus edge space in universities are the external representation of many kinds of internal contradictions and conflicts in the long-term development process between the school and the city.If we only look at the problems from the surface phenomenon,the effect of "treating the symptoms but not the root cause" will appear.Therefore,to explore the healthoriented design concept suitable for the renewal of campus edge space,we need to establish the cognition of the characteristics of campus edge space,the cognition of the integration of University and urban space,and the cognition of the frontier health-oriented design concept and method.Based on this,the starting point of this paper is mainly from three directions: theoretical research,empirical research and strategic research:In the part of theoretical research,firstly,it combs the related research on the campus edge space,compares the forms of the campus edge space at home and abroad,and summarizes the types of the current campus edge space.Based on its form types,this paper analyzes the form characteristics of campus edge space from two aspects of "material form" and "space perception",and combs the existing space problems under each characteristic.At the same time,starting from the concept of health-oriented planning and design,this paper also analyzes the spatial characteristics of rehabilitation garden from two aspects of "material form" and "spatial perception".Based on this,this paper takes the spatial characteristics of the concept of rehabilitation garden as the direction of the renewal of campus edge space characteristics,and forms the renewal connection of two kinds of space in the physical form and the renewal connection in the spatial perception,so as to obtain the method of applying the Healing Garden to campus edge space renewal.In the empirical research part,through delimiting the area with high development intensity in Chengdu,and selecting a number of university campuses in the area for field research,the Wangjiang campus of Sichuan University is finally selected as the empirical research object to carry out investigation and evaluation analysis.Firstly,the Wangjiang campus of Sichuan University is investigated and analyzed,and the basic situation of Wangjiang campus is controlled as a whole by means of field survey,structured questionnaire and interview.Secondly,by using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the evaluation system of the characteristics of campus edge space is constructed,and the evaluation of Wangjiang is analyzed.In order to ensure the pertinence,feasibility and scientificity of this study,the accurate spatial information of Wangjiang campus is obtained by combining the above two qualitative and quantitative analysis methods.In the strategy research part,based on the above theoretical framework and survey evaluation system,combined with the cognition of material form and spatial perception,six renewal strategies are proposed,including the grasp of land use balance,the choice of edge open mode,the implantation of rehabilitation unit,the coordination of internal and external transportation,the organic growth of campus,and the transformation of construction mode.In order to provide new ideas and methods for healthy campus planning through the update research on the edge of colleges and universities.In the strategy research part,based on the above theoretical framework and investigation evaluation system,combined with the cognition of material form and spatial perception,five major strategies are proposed,including controllable transformation of edge development,construction of compatible campus edge zone,implantation of "Healing Unit" to improve edge perception,formation of accessible transportation system and application of various edge construction modes Strategy.In order to provide new ideas and methods for healthy campus planning through the update research on the edge of colleges and universities.
